OK, I don't eat commercial bread, which means for the past year, I don't eat commercial pizza. But, on the way home from errands, after a long drive home from Jamestown, I folded and suggested Pizza Palace in Enfield, hoping I wouldn't gain the usual two pounds from my moment of weakness.Wow! This place is great. It is way more than a pizza place. This is a full-on Italian restaurant with many menu choices from eggplant parm to lasagne, to salads to...well, we were there for the pizza. We decided to build our own pizza with 4 ingredients: pineapple, bacon, onion (grilled) and artichoke. Even our server remarked how good it looked--and it did. The amazing surprise was how goood it tasted. The kitchen accomodated us with a thinner crust, grilled onions, and they also crisped the bacon. This place really aims to please. We so enjoyed our meal, and only could eat half of the large, which left one lunch portiona and another dinner to be kept in the freezer.Another amazing fact: I did not gain a pound even with three slices. I'm sold. If I am ever to have commercial pizza again, this is my go to place. But, I admit, I also have to try their eggplant parm. If they do pizza this well, the eggplant should be worth the try.
Full disclosure, growing up there was a Bruno's in Amherst I LOVED! And they delivered in those pre-driving days! So I have to admit, the name made me nostalgic.I've enjoyed Bruno's twice. Once when it was delivered to a friends house in Longmeadow and once when I was driving home and stopped in to feed the fam. Have to say, enjoyed both occasions. Pizza: Quality pizza, plenty of cheese and toppings. Crust was tasty, standard. It did not disappoint my family when I brought it home. My daughter really enjoyed the quesadilla as well.Service: Very friendly and attentive.Value: Standard for the area. Note: Not really a eat-in place. They do have two booths though. Nice for a quick meal with the kids.Would recommend giving them a shot.

We have only sat down and eaten there once, both of us got something other than pizza and we were both very unhappy. (I had chicken parm, my husband had lasagna) That one sit in visit was enough to make us not bother again. BUT, we pick up their specialty bacon and BBQ chicken pizza once a month on average because it is THAT good. plenty of toppings, love the crust too. Seems they are always busy, but I would not recommend anything but pizza...

We came for happy hour and everything was delicious. Got the happy hour drink specials along with 1/2 price appetizers. Got the delicious risotto balls with cheese garlic bread along with a sangria. For dinner I got the house calzone which was enough to feed 3 people. Came home with an extra meal. So for 3 meals and an alcoholic drink (which was amazing) $20. AMAZING! Will be back.

I have honestly never had bad food from these folks, and as they are about a mile away from me, delivery should be a breeze. However, as one of the busiest privately owned pizzarias in town, sometimes delivery takes more or less time than estimated (which is fine for home dining, but I imagine could throw off someone at work with limited break time). Friendly on the phone, friendly at the door, decent food. Overall, good job

It was cooked perfectly and had lots of flavor. The house salad and dressing was very good and fresh. The garlic bread was perfect. The server was very friendly and attentive. The place is very clean and has some must return for items. The draft beer was clean and fresh. The only con was the pasta shells were over cooked. Had they been Al dente they would have been perfect with the excellent gravy.

Very good service. Ice tea is good. Tad bit more meat on the salad would work. Plenty of lettuce. Nice upgrade with the mozz and onions. Place is dated and almost quaint. End of the day, it's ready for nice dining room renovation. A make-over would probably boost business. For a gray Friday is was on the quiet side.

When I come to Conn. to visit my mom I have a secret pleasure and order Rinaldi's margarita pizza. Even though it's the best pizza ever, it's not on Weight Watchers. Who cares because Rinaldi's is the best little jewel of a restaurant!

On a recent Monday movie night out with friends, we stopped in LuLu's. Love this place! Friendly service (great job Kimberly), loads of menu choices, everyone got a great meal, which came out from the kitchen hot and tasty.I was not really hungry that evening, and it was bitter cold out, so just got a crock of LuLu's homemade chili topped with mozzarella cheese, baked to perfection. If you haven't been - stop by!
