First time to this restaurant and it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.Garlic flatbread starters with meatballs and pasta fribbons for me and veal milanese with a wonderful mixed salad for my wife. Our friends had Carbonara and a steak and everybody cleared their plates - great food!Single glasses of Chianti, Shiraz and sauvignon blanc and ice cream / affogato (best i have had) to finish. The bill was extremely reasonable and the service terrific. Will most definitely return - VERY SOON!!

Metro Italia is a family run business well established in the North of London, for over 25 years now. This authentic Italian restaurant was created after many years of work experience in Italy combined with a strong passion for the hospitality industry.
We ate at the Metro on Sunday 15/09 evening. My son had gamberoni linguini and I had fish risotto. My son started to have stomach cramps soon after we left the restaurant, I had them later that night. Fish was frozen and of bad quality. It must have gone off. My son and I spent the next day in bed because still unwell. If this restaurant was serving that doubtable food quality in Italy it would close immediately, let alone that is not authentic. I am Italian, no Italian would cook basmati rice risotto. Gambling on health of clients like us should be persecuted. Only restaurant that serve fresh product should thrive.Dear customer,We are truly sorry to hear the situation if you have mentioned and we are very keen to find out what could have happened - our cuisine is 100% fresh, under very rigorous quality control to ensure the standards we have been keeping for over 25 years in hospitality (in Italy and UK).Stomach cramps are usually not immediate after dinner but still, we are really interested in taking this further and discussing it with you. Could you kindly pop by the restaurant to speak to the manager Hugo or give us a ring on T.: +44 (0) 1895 679 099 ? That would be very much appreciated. Please note that it is written on the menu risotto served with basmati rice.We look forward to hearing from you, hopefully shortly.Best regards,Metro Italia Team

We came here for a late lunch as shopping and had an excellent meal. We had lovely starters followed by Chicken, bacon and avocado salad - delicious.

We regularly visit this small local restaurant for dinner or lunch. The staff are very good being both friendly and efficient even when the restaurant is busy, which it usually is (and that means booking). The food is consistently very good and sometimes excellent. Not necessarily full bore Italian, but always tasty and well prepared. The Specials are not on the menu nor on a board but you are told (!) are what we always go for and they can be very special ... not that the regular menu items are bad! The scallops in bacon are brilliant. The grilled whole fish (recently red mullet) are well prepared and well cooked. Even the included vegetables are excellent. The wine list has a range if interesting Italian wines. Overall really good value and deservedly popular.

#LetsEatEngland bringing you another tasty review. So we decided to hit this spot as my partner spoke about a previous visit at a different location, unlimited wine and something else, I forget. SO I go online, make the reservation for the following night, and off we go. We arrive, and firstly the woman tells us that we have no reservation for you in our system, so we can't seat you. Even though there are about 6 tables free from what I can see. Ummm okay. So eventually she decides that we can have a table, I guess anyway, as she just sorta walked away and didn't say "this way please" or anything at all. So we look at one another thinking, do we follow her?So we sit and place our orders, my partner has a set menu as this is the attraction to this place on this certain night, she went before but in Ruislip. I order Seabass and a glass of wine (not in the promotion). One big difference between Pinner & Ruislip is that you have to go up and get your own wine refill at Pinner (which makes you look like a drunk IMO). Seems like at least ONE of the 3 women stood at the hostess stand could have brought wine around, I think there were only 2 or 3 options anyway right? Red or white. So long story less long, my tiny seabass shows up and my ladies meal as well. I forget what she ordered, all I remember is that the greens on the plate look as if they were dying of thirst. Wilted and just sad looking. My fish was nice, but far far too small for that massive plate (see images). They were so small they look as if there should have been about 2 more pieces to make it fill the plate. Thats all I recall about the evening BUT like (Inezaanou) reviewed, the staff was a bit arrogant, and just as they indicated, they were all attentive to the table that sat down next to us, which were clearly friends or regulars, but no one else got that love. We sure as hell didn't.I also recall asking a man (manager maybe) for a glass of water......still waiting on that. Then when I placed a review elsewhere, the phone rang the very next day from someone wanting to discuss my review. Wait what?!?! It felt a bit assertive so I told her I was about to do a podcast and I would call her back. Never did, don't have the number.OH! The next day, I got an email from Zaza asking about how my evening was and thanks for making a reservation.......that was not there apparently. I don't play the race card, but we were the only couple of natural tan in the entire place, so lets just call that a coincidence. Either way the reservation clearly was there, the woman just didn't want to seat us for some reason. Maybe they thought I couldn't pay? My African American Express and this Visa, gets me in & out of any place that I need to!Never going back. peeeeeace! #V3Tv #LetsEatEngland

As you enter this restaurant, you are greeted with being outdoors as there are artificial trees and plants dotted around the entire restaurant area. Very pleasant feeling inside one feels one is sitting alfresco in the Med. Nicely decorated too with a subtle grey theme throughout.Food and service were excellent. As vegetarians we were pleased with the menu and the items we ordered were easy and satisfying on the palate. Would go back for sure. Little bit pricey but worth it.Parking can be an issue though and worth booking as it's a busy restaurant.

Just wanted a decent meal for myself and the good lady who has a gluten allergy , a quick search on google of nearby gluten free restaurants came up with Sensi. A glance at the reviews and we said yes letâs go itâs local and they could accommodate are gluten free needs after a quick phone conversation. So glad we went the food was outstanding, from the staters, think we had grilled cheese and meatballs, the lady hadnât had meatballs in ages been gluten intolerant and she loved them , me too they were delicious. Canât remember what I had for mains but I know I had a empty plate at the end which means I throughly enjoyed it , the misses had a fish risotto, she couldnât finish it as she is not a big eater ,but again excellent, Onto the dessert both of us full but we shared a chocolate rum cake , ,,,,,,,on my the misses was in heaven , gluten free chocolate rum cake , gorgeousWhole meal was superb first class gluten free food , we will be back , in fact she has been back already with her girlfriends , you will be seeing me soon as well , Keep it up
