The place looks like a bit of a dive, but we heard they serve good pizzas and they were right. The pizzas looked amazing and tasted even better. I would definately recommend eating there as you will not find better pizza in Cape town and we've been to Massimos.
The Cklan is a Scottish Bar and Restaurant. The word âClanâ by definition means âa close-knit group of interrelated familiesâ, âa group of people with a strong common interestâ. This simple explanation sums up the concept and the driving force behind our

Took my mother and father for Sunday breakfast. It was a special experience. Noticed lots of parents with kids coming for breakfast and felt very "at home" and comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food was delicious. The coffee too!Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review. We hope to welcome you back to Bon Amis again soon!

Went there with my partner last night and used Entertainer. Thank goodness we did because the pizza was tiny. Toppings were of great quality but not worth what is being charged. It was oddly shaped too. This place could be super amazing with the right training for staff and attention to detail on the meals. Staff were busy cleaning and setting up and therefore we waited too long to order and had to get up more than once to ask to order. Management - care more otherwise this place wonât make it!

I've been ordering Pizzas from Matt's for years now. Their service and food standards remain high and they have delicious wonderful pizzas. They're super quick, good prices and the selection is great. Every time I've bought pizzas from them for friends, everyone asks me where I got the amazing pizzas from. In fact, my father doesn't eat pizza, but he loves Matt's (and that says something)

Carlucci's has an amazing play area for kids , our own jumping castle and huge jungle gym. Large green rolling lawns for kids to run. Our menu will sure satisfy all your needs from pizza's to burgers and breakfasts.
I'm afraid I have to agree with the negative criticism. We tried this place 3 times because we were staying at the Meerendal Estate attached to it, so there were not many options. We ordered chicken strips and they came undercooked, basically just warmed up, oily bits of chicken. We sent them back and asked them to deep fry them to make them crispy. Next day I ordered a pizza, thinking Carlucci's sounded Italian so it must be good. It was too bready and too cheesy, very stodgy and the ham was not good quality (think : bits you can't chew and have to take back out of your mouth). Third attempt was breakfast : my french toast was huge, bits of the bacon strips inside were impossible to cut and the entire thing was just not what I had expected. Some white staff members look mostly depressed, the ethnically African waiters are doing their best to compensate by being smiley and sweet, which I appreciated very much. I also suspect that the angry faced man sitting at one of the tables is the big boss. Please take a taxi and enjoy a meal elsewhere when you stay at the Meerendal, at least until Carlucci's realises it takes more than an Italian name on the building to be a decent restaurant.

Our Bistro is all about eating great food and enjoying a selection of our very own Signal Gun wines along with superb wines from Durbanville Wine Valley, which is sure to satisfy all tastes. Ke-monate is a Sotho word meaning 'dis lekker' or 'that's nice'.
I visit frequently, but this might be my last. Asked for a nice view when making the reservation and didn't get it. Service was very slow. Fish and chips deteriorated from my previous experience. Microscopic piece of fish (not fresh) covered by dough. All in all not totally bad, but underwhelming. Didn't ask to talk to management as I had overseas visitors with me. Dissapointed.

I had never visited this establishment before, despite the fact that I have lived in Durbanville for a very long time and had only heard good reports. When friends suggested that we have a meal there, I looked forward to the experience. It has been going for years and this is always a good sign. The decor is surprisingly simple and I personally found the ambience to be slightly lacking.Be that as it may, the welcome was professional and the service was good throughout. My meal (a seafood pasta that arrived in foil to retain the flavour/juices) was very good. However, it was the reaction of the other five members of the party that forced me to award Zibaldone an extra star : they all raved about their food.We took our own wine and paid corkage. I cannot remember how much it was. All in all, a very pleasant evening was had by all.

Visiting the Olive Bistro on numerous occasions this visit was very disappointing with quality of certain food items to drop. The toppings of the pizzas are paper thin. We had the Namibian pizza. The Eisbein was over fried or a previously leftover one was reused. When a restaurant becomes too busy you expect the quality to drop.
