Johnny Brusco's is proud to bring authentic New York style pizza and a variety of housemade dinners, subs, and more to the neighborhoods we call home. We grew up enjoying and perfecting pizza, and now we're sharing our passion with everyone we serve.
After a long day of travel and checking in to our hotel, we strolled over to Johnny Brusco's and enjoyed a very good pizza and drinks served by a friendly and efficient server. A really good place for a casual meal with very reasonable prices.AWESOME to hear you say so Fred! Thanks so much for your business and kind words about our restaurant and we look forward to having you back next time you're in town - see you then! Our pizzas feature housemade mozzarella and locally sourced farm-to-fork ingredients, and are cooked by wood fire in specially-designed, imported-from-Italy ovens in 90 seconds. There's nothing else like our restaurant in the region for the finest, truly
We had the Sushi Novanta a mozzarella rolled with prosciutto, spinach, arugula & roasted red pepper. It was fairly fresh and light considering all the mozza cheese. We enjoyed it. The pizza comes personal size only so each person needs one which allows for everyone to get the pizza of his or her choice but gets pretty pricey. The pizza was creative combinations.. Other than that itâs really nothing to write home about. Pizza is one of those things that really just need to be pure. Don't get me wrong, this place blows away the big chain and delivery trash that taste like the box it came in and we enjoyed it along with the novelty of pizza being kind of cool, but pretty it much ends there. The tables are close together, chairs are cold and hard, staff Is younger and inexperienced and location its off the beaten path. . 48.00 for two is a bit pricey also and itâs probably not going to make our return list.

We went from eating here 3 times a month to just not eating here as the food and service went downhill and the prices went up. We reluctantly tried Brick House Tavern again this weekend as the restaurant we wanted to try wasnât open. We are glad we did. The food was dramatically improved and service was better. Not all went perfect as they forgot to put an egg on my spinach salad. I had steak put on my salad and it was cooked to perfection. We used to like getting the chicken wings, but they cost way too much for an appetizer. They used to be a lot cheaper. We will try coming here again and hope to find things to our liking.

Decided to try this pizza place. I found the place to be dirty. The pizza was bland. Lettuce was not fresh. Will not return.

Ordered and picked up. Said 20' and on the dot. The wings were juicy and the mango habenero was sweet heat! The spinach feta bread was hot and great bread chew. The marinara, 15" in the microwave finished off the bready enjoyment.

Ordered a veggie pie. Regular crust. Light and nice chew. Tomato sauce light and luscious. Sparingly topped with onions, mushrooms, green peppers and fresh tomato. Plently of lovely gooey mozz. Satisfied any skepticism as to whether z wood worker can bake a pie.

Pomodoro's specializes in Italian American favorites and authentic Stone-Hearth pizza and baked goods. All pizzas are made by well trained âPizziolasâ (pizza chefs) using a guarded, signature sauce recipe with over 18 ingredients; then cooked in a true sto
We had dinner at Pomodoros' Italian Cafe to support a local organization H.A.T.S (Helping Animals To Survive) and the real bonus was the food and service were excellent! Not only is this restaurant vested in the local community and local non profit groups they also provide a great dining experience. This was our first visit and it definitely won't be our last. We both had the Manicotti with house salad, beverage and a dessert.....all very high quality. The featured beverage for the night (to support the non profit) was a "Tail Wagers" cocktail...a vodka based drink that was fruity, summer like and just delicious. They also offer a wonderful assortment of fabulous Italian (imported from NYC) desserts that can be purchased to take home - or (as I did) give as a gift.Compliments to the owners and management team for offering high quality food in a fun atmosphere and complimented with great wait staff.Thank you! I too live in the Denver area and this is home to me as well. Helping out with the local schools and organizations is good for us all! Thank you for supporting small business, thank you for supporting Pomodoro's in return. Ciao

Definitely not a white table cloth and linen napkins restaurant but a nice Neighborhood Italian Restaurant much like you would encounter in Northern Jersey or Ohio. It well maintained and clean and the noise level is such that you can carry on a decent conversation with everyone else in your party. Was not busy the day we were there but the service was still slow. I think our server said something about some else had called off and she was the only server. We started with our beverage order and it's a good thing I ordered 1/2 and 1/2 tea because even that was very sweet and I hate to think what the sweetened tea would have tasted like.We started out with Fried Mozzarella Sticks with Marinara Sauce. The Cheese was overcooked and while the shell was crispy, the inside had pulled away from the shell leaving a void. The Marinara Sauce was thin and did not taste anything like Fresh Tomatoes nor did it taste like any of the characteristic Italian Herbs like Basil, Oregano or Fennel. My Italian Meatball Sub was very dry and again the Sauce was the same as the Marinara. Portion sizes were very generous but the fries were a bit overcooked as well.On the other hand, my wife really enjoyed her Hot Sub and even made the comment that she wanted to come back sometime and have another. That said, we will give it another shot and will write another review of our dining experience is better.

This pricey little place had pretty nice appeal when we first walked in and the wait staff, although hurried, seemed friendly enough. Atmosphere is typical sports bar setting- lots of tv's on the walls - perhaps too many. We both ordered the special that evening and wow was that a mistake. First of all meatloaf is NOT steak and should not be priced as such. Second, when the meal causes gastric distress long after it is eaten then something is off kilter with the ingredients. Last of all mashed potatoes should not contain the peel, at least not in the Southern U.S. . If the bar wants to attract the drinking crowd they will succeed but as for anyone wanting good dining for a reasonable price I think there are plenty of other places offering better.
