Lunchtime deal: £6 for a burger, chips and a coke. Sounds pretty good! But wait...Wait while the waitress finishes chatting to the bloke at the bar. But eventually she manages to grab a moment to serve me. Oh, the bloke at the bar might have been the chef...He disappears into the kitchen to heat up a burger that may have been drying out overnight to his perfection, or might have just been waiting under the grill for me to arrive. It eventually appears in front of me on the obligatory artisan slab of slate, with a little mound of lettuce artistically arranged, and a little bucket of tiny pencils. Cool! I look around for a colouring book only to realise that the pencils are in fact fries! Pencils would have been more tasty. I drown my sorrows in the glass of luke warm flat cokey-stuff with a sort of bland flavourlessness that is vaguely reminiscent of the âreal thingâ.But, hey, Circolo Pizzeria is a vibrant funky, independent artisan local business which we all need to support, so I could almost forgive the dessicated food. Almost, but my stomach is less forgiving. Off to the chemist for a funky indigestion remedy.

Stayed here for two nights over Bank holiday. Clean room and friendly staff. Very efficient from room service staff. Slightly expensive but poss due to BH. Pub was a bit noisy with all the tv screens showing sport. A couple of quiet corners without the telly would have enticed us to stay for meal. Otherwise great stay and will visit again.Thank you for the great review Michael.We do hope to welcome you back again soon.RegardsLauren

I booked this restaurant some months before as it was my 60th Birthday treat. I went with my wife and mother in law as we were visiting Portsmouth. We started with some lovely warm olive oil bread with oil and balsamic which was lovely and set the tastebuds going. I opted for a starter and had the avocado, tomato, mozarella and parma ham which was a lovely combination of ingredients. I had a spaghetti carbonara with a rugola salad. My wife and mother in law had penne with a creamy sauce of chicken and bacon. Absolutely lovely and approved by all. The restaurant was full and we went on a Tuesday evening at 7pm so booking is essential. The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. the bill was also very reasonable even with a bottle of wine.

The food at Artys is simple and fresh, run by a young couple trying very hard to make a success of their restaurant. Its hard to find great food in this part of the country and Artyâs seems like a nice, reliable spot for pizza and pasta and a bottle of wine. They have specials every time and a nice selection of sharing starters, as well as the main focus of pasta and pizza. Itâs always busy and the staff are friendly, a good local staple.

This Restaurant has such a family feel to it, itâs incredible. In these last two weeks I was staying in England, I went there ten times probably. The guys and girls working there were already recognizing our faces. Spot on Service, amazing Food.... but really u feel at home at this place and thats the five stars for

Food and cocktails were lovely.A little bit pricey but did get NHS discount, so softened the blow. Service was OK. The negative was the latte was one of the worst I'd had but the gin cocktail made up for it.!!

I keep coming back here, if ever I mention Pizza the kids insist on Giorgioâs. I can not recommend Giorgioâs enough. I came in here when they first opened and have returned time and time again since. Family run, fantastic friendly service and amazing food. Thank you soo much guys keep up the great work x

Don't know why this place is so busy because the food was mildly 'acceptable' .... bland, flavorless, badly presented. If we weren't so hungry, we would've sent it back. Wait staff is busy running around ... not checking on whether or not you are satisfied or need anything else. We won't be back.

Our 3rd visit in 18 months. As before, a thoroughly enjoyable lunch with superb food and good service.Perfect Minestrone, garlic bread and pizzas. Huge portions, well-cooked, hot and looked great on the plate.My mushroom/onion/peppers pizza was as good as it gets.Friendly efficient service throughout.Comfy seats and spacious.Unless you want a window table, or are a large group, probably no need to book apart from peak evenings. It deserves to be full though.On road parking nearby, level access.Love it.

I am not really a fan of Pizza Restaurants in general as they are all much the same with very little individuality on offer. However, I was pleasantly surprised by my experiences at Prezzo in Port Solent. I had been there before, but it was many years ago. Although it is much the same as it was (why change a successful formula), I felt that it had a much better ambience that I recalled.As it was, my choice of Calzone with mushroom starter was excellent and I really enjoyed both the meal and the restaurant itself.I have to say that the staff that helped us enjoy our meal did a fantastic job - offering just the right level of attentiveness without being intrusive!I loved it!Thank you. Przzo - and especially your staff!
