I was so excited when I saw that Pizza Hut had put up a carryout location down the street. Not that long ago, Pizza Hut was my ALL-TIME FAVORITE pizza - even better than the independant pizza shops on every corner here in the Philadelphia area. However, it didnt take long for that to change. The crusts are no longer hand made, but rather are factory made, cookie cutter frozen frisbees they get in by the truckload. The toppings are very rationed, the cheese is just enough to cover the sauce even when you order extra cheese, and frankly it is overpriced even at special rates.A $3.50 store brand self-rising crust pizza with $1 worth of extra cheese on top is far better in my opinion.I have no complaints about the people here though. They have always been friendly and the delieveries have always been timely. They only messed up our order once, but we got a store credit for it. Hence, the average rating instead of "poor" or "terrible".
Real cheese, real sauce, perfect crustWe visited Lily's when it first opened and while the pie was in the oven, Gladys and Marvin told us about how they opened and named their shop (hint: their granddaughter's name is Lily). We order a Lily's pizza almost every week, it's the only place we get our plain pizzas the true test of pizza)..
We thought that in a pinch we'd just go pick up a pizza at Domino's as not much else was open (it was Easter)........what a mistake - it was like cardboard with so so sauce and not much else - and it was expensive!!!! Never going to Domino's again..........

I had their buffalo, steak, bacon ranch and barbeque chicken pizza and not of them were anything to write home about. Of the four I sampled, only the barbeque chicken as any good and worth getting again. Parkesburg pizza and Little Anthony's are much better for pizza in my opinion.

Living in the area my whole life I havr been to countless pizza shops and places like Venice. Venice takes the cake when it is time for lunch. The guys I work with and myself like to eat its that simple. The assorted specialty pizza slices are incredible and the lunch specials are sure to fill you up. It is not the cheapest lunch you will ever have, but for the quality of the food and the at home feel from those behind the counter its a steal! Love this place. Must go spot here.

This joint always has good flavor and rarely messes up your takeout. Cheesesteaks good, pizza always very good. Their desserts are always gone quickly when I bring them home!

Have had wonderful food from Jack's. From the pizza, to their wings. The service is very nice especially the awesome hardworking employees. The owner is a great guy. Every time I visit our family friend in Thorndale we order from Jack's. As a Chef and Foodie, this establishment is the real deal when it comes to Pizza and Wings, along other outstanding menu items. Highly recommended by me is the Seafood Chowder, a delicious creamy base with a great selection of quality seafood. The Buffalo Chicken pizza is a house specialty and is remarkably excellent, quality chicken shredded in a tangy yet spicy buffalo sauce and a nice hint of blue cheese and mozzerella cheese, both went well together. The Wings are spectacular, fried until crispy tossed in their special sauce and you choose from regular, medium or hot. With that being said defnitely check out Jack's Pizza & Pasta, you'll be glad did. Highly Recommended!
