Back up and running Cousins Pizza is a breath of fresh air. From their knowledgeable and courteous staff, to the variety of their menu, to the great taste of everything we ordered. The chicken lemon orzo soup, fried calamari, mussels in sauce, Eggplant and Eggplant Rolatini, Shrimp Scamp, Veal Parmagiania sandwich and Buffalo chicken wrap were all outstanding. If your in the area, make sure you stop at Cousins Pizza. You will not be disappointed!
We visit Original Presto's expecting a Pizzeria and found an excellent local restaurant. There is a full restaurant as well as a takeout area. We were seated immediately as it was early an the service person was friendly and helpful. The interior is simply but nicely appointed and had a few customers who were clearly familiar with the place and enjoyed it. We started with a grilled calamari. While it was being prepared we feasted on the bread and oil that was provided. The appetizer appeared and was three succulent calamari with grill marks, and a hint of vinegar from the garnish. The calamari were tender and sweet with the hint of spicy and acidity. We had the house special pizza which arrive after awhile. It was not boiling hot from the oven and may have waited to arrive at our table even though the restaurant was not crowded. The garnish was execellent, including broccoli, fennel, sausage, .. Clearly, great care was taken in preparing each ingredient and placing it on the pie. It was a shame it did not arrive at the table with as much care. We could only finish a part of the pie. The next day when we crisped up the pizza at home the crust was a match for the well prepared toppings. We finished with a tiramisu, a definite plus being airy and a good conclusion to the meal. Definitely a place to try for a second visit to try the other dishes.

This new restaurant is really running very well. Loved the menu. Tough to choose from so many favorites.Warm, homemade bread loaf and butter brought to table. We ordered a pizza cut in mini slices as a table share app. Pizza reminded us of our favorite one at Aumm Aumm in North Bergen. Nice Caesar salad.A Burger that should be on a high-end Diners, Dives & Drive-In Show. Filet Mignon & Strip Steak which rival the River Palm. Steamed spinach side. A very talented culinary team.Homemade tiramisu and creme brûlée. Yum.And service which was polished and friendly as well as knowledgeable, on-the-ball and quick. Thank you, Christa! The owners/managers are hands-on and working and watching everything, which is why this restaurant runs so smoothly. And byob. Weâll definitely be back. Next time weâll make a reservation. Happy to have been squeezed-in tonight. Itâs a home run!

Family Restaurant and Craft Beer House. Famous for Our Thin Crust Pizza and Pots of Mussels. Pizza Night is every Tuesday!
While visiting friends we decided to order an appetizer for take out. We agreed that mussels would be a great for our group. Someone recommended this Cafe so we ordered mild and spicy mussels. Not only did we receive an abundance of well prepared mussels, but the sauce alone was tasty and plentiful. Four of us ate the mussels and there was plenty for each of us. The cost was unbelievably low and the wait time was acceptable. I definitely recommend this cafe and look forward to ordering more mussels and other dishes from the Grant Street Cafe.

Visited 07/04/18 with friends.A bunch of us came here on the suggestion that this place has the best pizza outside of Brooklyn. Well, I've never had pizza in Brooklyn, but this pizza was indeed, quite excellent. Actually everything that we had (appetizers, salad, etc.) was very very good. The fried calamari, the eggplant rollentini and the grilled shrimp and calamari were all terrific... as was the house salad with an excellent blue cheese dressing. But the pizza... just terrific. The Grandma pie was nice and thin, with fresh tomato sauce and mozzarella. As good a pie as I've every had. Next time I might ask for the crust to be a bit... crustier, but that's really not a complaint. I really did love the pie. I'm not a big 'crust' guy, but this crust was not to hard and not too soft... kinda like a buttery croissant if you ask me. Truly the best tasting crust I've ever had. We (8 of us) also shared a "Nonno" pie or as our waiter called it, a Grandpa pie. This pie was Sicilian style... still thin crust but not as thin as Grandma's pie... and we added sausage to it. Grandpa too was very good, but we all agreed that 'Grandma' won the challenge. (even though there wasn't one) We definitely will be back. It's also a BYOB, which on any level is always a good thing. If I have one criticism about this place... I might suggest that the owner hang some pictures (of Italy maybe?) or maybe have a mural painted on the walls. Brighten the place up a bit. But the food!? No complaint there!

Not a bad place, though I felt the place was a bit "understaffed" so it took awhile for my pizza to be ready. But it wasn't so bad, but I found the place a bit dirty. Though at the end, the pizza was quite enjoyable, for an 18 inch pie. It was big and hard to carry one slice, so I had to use a fork and knife. Until I decided to just "roll" it up.
Where to eat Seafood food in Closter: The Best Restaurants and Bars

In this typical northern NJ Italian restaurant, the service is great and the food is very good. However, itâs not anything you havenât seen in other Italian restaurants. Itâs also very cramped and as others have noted, can get a bit noisey. Our server was attentive, everything came out perfectly. Donât plan on any leftovers to enjoy another day as portions are ample for your meal, just not âgenerousâ. Drinks are pricey, as are their desserts. Owners are on hand to great you and make sure everything is as it should be during your ,dining time there. Our table had an assortment of dishes. Steak, ravioli, & 3 different mixed seafood combos. All perfectly cooked. Bread comes with an interesting tomatoes relish of sorts. They have a large parking lot and the bar is often crowded.
