My wife's family live in nearby Castelvetrano and this is Uncle Gasperino's favorite eating place. The restaurant is on the road between Castelvetrano and Selinunte and the food is fantastic. Gasperino ordered an assortment of different seafood pasta (vongole, cozze, crab) and mixed fish grill with vegetables.Everything was delicious. We ate so much! The meal lasted about 3 hours.The wines were local Sicilian ones.For dessert canolli of course !

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We happened upon this place off the S115 between Castelvetrano and Selinunte and decided to give it a try. The location was good, food served in a courtyard and it was busy with local people and a birthday party.We only wanted one course and that was not a problem - offered a menu in English which helped. The choices were varied and good -we choose a risotto verdure and a spaghetti with clams and basil.The portions were good and the quality and flavour excellent.Looking at what others were eating, the platters of seafood looked very good.All in all, based on only one dish, the food was tasty and the location impressive. The staff were courteous and efficient. We will return and try more of the menu.

Normalmente diffido dalle pizzerie, perciò cerco di evitarle. Ma non potevo dire no all'amico ing. Giovanni Santangelo che ci aveva spronato ad una visita di questo locale situato nel centro storico di Castelvetrano e gestito da alcuni giovani entusiasti del loro lavoro. . Ben arredato, pulito e forse un po' troppo ampio. Appena entrati ci siamo ricreduti: ottima accoglienza e subito al banco alcuni assaggi delle varie pizze, davvero numerose. Risultato: siamo rimasti a tavola almeno due ore assaggiando le diverse confezioni di un impasto molto alto, ben cotto e lievitato a lungo. Ho, tra gli altri, bevuto un ottimo vino rosso di cantina locale, una vera spremuta d'uva, naturale e genuino. Consiglio di provare questo locale con le sue originali specialità . Non bevete la solita birra provate questo vino rosso che ben si accompagna con le pietanze della pizzeria. E alla fine pagherete meno del giusto. Prezzi veramente popolari!

This is a typical Greek taverna restaurant in Selinunte, Sicily, where you will meet local neighbours having lunch or dinner and even playing cards. It is very picturesque and a charming experience! The menu is large and the meals are home-made style and good. Prices are also very friendly! So give it a try and enjoy the folk experience!!!! The grilled steak was great.

Recommended by our B&B and within walking distance, this popular local restaurant had a huge pizza oven and I watched as they scraped some hot embers from the oven and piled them under a grill to cook my involtini or little meat rolls with a herby stuffing, delicious ... as was Chris's pizza.

We ate delicious grilled meat with well flavored potatoes. Also the carpaccio was very good. Everything was neat and tidy. Not a bad thing about the food, the restaurant or the hospitality. There is only one problem. The waiters don't speak english or an other language but italian and the menu isnt translated neither. Because of that we didnt have all the opportunities to choose. But I would certainly go back

We have eaten here since it first opened on our annual trips to Sicily. The food is consistently of a high standard whether we are just the two of us or in a large group of friends and family. Dag accommodates dietary requirements, which includes vegetarian options. We have never been disappointed, with the owner and staff going over and above to meet our expectations. This place is in a beautiful setting, very clean and tidy. Already we look forward to our next visit.

Been travelling for 4 weeks and this restaurant is up there with our best for quality and price. Staff were fantastic especially as we get there early and they are quiet. Lovely few all dishes superMussels soup and sardines grilled 10/10Almond semi fresh for dessert beautiful.
