My wife and our three daughters have just had a fantastic dinner at Il Locale Di Guido. My wife and I shared a 1kg Fiorentina Steak, 2 daughters had Filet Steak and the little one had local pasta. We had a small bottle of wine and desserts. Everything was excellent. The service was great too. The entrance to the restaurant is a little peculiar but the dining area itself is lovely. We highly recommend.

Great dining experience! While fairly new, it was a great restaurant. We were residing in a remote villa and the restaurant sent us a van to transport our party of 8 to take us to their location. We were seated outdoors which was nice although not exceptionally scenic. Menu was in full Italian which at first presented a problem in ordering and the staff held little English. However using a photo with google translator, it easily translated into English for us on our cell phones. From there we all ordered our meal choices and no complaints on any of the meals. Fresh and delicious. Wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. We happened to notice a series of country flags around the premises and did not see the flag for the USA. No problem!!!!! They immediately presented one and displayed it amount the others in the outdoor patio! Nice. Definitely recommend this place. After a nice meal and a good time, we were transported back to our villa. Now that's service. Thank you to the owners and staff for a wonderful experience.

When you want take out pizza in the area around Castelnuovo Berardenga, La Morina is it. You can order even a day in advance and the precise time that you plan to take away. Lots of options and great flavor. Pizza time at Castelnuovo is definitively La Morina. By the way they always have things ready to go at the counter as well.

We had lunch here while staying nearby and really enjoyed it. The food/wine was good/reasonably priced and the service excellent. The outside location was good as it was a hot day and we were very comfortable.

We ate here the evening after the gran fondo strade bianche and were amazed at the treatment we received. A tuscan starter to kick off followed by two second dishes and then desert and coffee to finish off. Good meat and a great choice of wine are 2 of the reasons we will certainly return to this restaurant next year. The caramel cheesecake is maybe the reason i shall return with the family before next year. Thanks again to all the pleasant staff who served us. Thank you very much, Chris! We were staying in Castel Monastero and came down here one night for dinner. It is super casual and nothing fancy which was what we wanted. Great extensive menu, pizzas, pasta, meat dishes, wine... service wasnât speedy but we werenât in a rush. Lots of locals eat here which tells you all you need to know. Great for a casual meal and v good value for money.

Unassuming Osteria/Pizzaria. Lovely welcome from friendly staff. Very nice menu, nothing flash, but good selection of antipasti and pasta and pizza. Good house wine and prosecco. Nice outside seating. The food was all very good and the service remained friendly and also efficient. Everything was all as you would hope for in a small and local restaurant - and then the bill turns up and it is just superb, and I mean *outstanding* value. A restaurant that deserves support. Give them a visit!

Pizza was acceptable, salad as well but far too big! Service very slow, toilet you wouldn't go ever and finally we got the wrong check after asking 3 times. There are many other typical Pizzerias in this very nice city but definitely not the favorite!
