After trying a few of the high rated places in the neighborhood and finding huge wait times (in the rain!), this place seated us immediately and we had a nice meal.

The place is lovely, the prices considerably lower than the surrounding restaurants, specially for fondue.Not surprisingly, there's no free lunch. We got half a bowl of fondue. To be fair, it was tasty - but both me and my wife had to have another dinner - so consider it a starter priced as main dish.The waiters are caring and the wine has a pretty honest price.

Just out of the busy town centre my wife and myself found this Italian restaurant, great food home made pasta my wife adored, The fish in shrimp sauce was excellent. Good wine and a very good price compared to the town centre. In fact we are going again tonight.

We were staying with friends who have a home in Campos do Jordão and mentioned that on Sunday nights, my wife usually makes pizza.They suggested that we go out and we went to Pierpaolo where they are well known by the staff and owners. The service was super efficient, the atmosphere pleasant & pizzas quite good. Pierpaolo is reputed to serve the best pizza in town.

Very good experience, but it was hard to find the place using Waze and Google Maps. The food and service were very good, reasonable price. Very good pizza desert with Nutella and Ice cream. The pizzas are thin and crispy, the toppings very balanced in taste. If you like thick and soggy pizzas with lots of catupiry this is not the place for you. The pizzeria is part of the Grand Hotel complex, and carries the same style of design and service: 5 stars. People are very friendly and helpful, also with kids. Prices are reasonable, we ate well with 5 adults and 2 kids for 125 euros. This included half a bottle of very nice wine (but wine is rather expensive in Brazil). One thing: Campos at night can be pretty cool and the place is not centrally heated, so bring a sweater. Another thing: check whether the restaurant is open in advance, sometimes there are events.Dear wvdm2016,We appreciate for sharing your experience. Café Terraço has a lot of things going for it, starting with the location. Fairly off the busy and evermore cheesy touristic centre of Campos do Jordão, the restaurant is situated in the hilly, forest-clad surroundings. Dirt roads to get there, literally.The place is warm and cozy, perfect for a romantic dinner or even a smaller gathering with friends or family. Service is excellent. Almost too excellent. I do not want to seem rude, but when waiters ask you if everything is OK two-three times, then the chef passes by your table twice... For me, it was a little bit too much. On the other hand, always better overdoing politeness and attention than the other way around, yeah?People come here for the pizza, and it was very good. Not the best I've had, but perhaps in the top 5. For me, the cheese barred that fifth star, feeling a tad rubbery. Apart from that, thin and delicios crust, good selection of traditional and special pizzas, ingredients of excellent quality.The winelist inludes a decent variety in different price ranges, so anyone should be able to find something worthwile. I was certainly pleased with my choise.All in all, a very pleasent experience. Easily recommendable.
