This is a very popular restaurant/bar for families and friends to come and enjoy the sun setting over Caltanissetta whilst enjoying a chilled beer, or house red along with some honest basic Sicilian cooking. Not haute cuisine, but a great setting and a lively atmosphere.

Prezzo contenuto. Lo consiglio =)

This authentic Sicilian restaurant was fantastic. They have a large menu and the service was perfect - they couldn't do enough for us. The food was delicious and the price more than reasonable. If you are in the area, this is a must!

I quickly looked through the TripAdvisor reviews and only found Italians. That makes sense as I believe we saw 2 tourists besides ourselves. The city is small but is worth a day trip or an overnight. We weren't sure where to go for dinner after a fairly busy day and had trouble finding anything appealing while walking about town. So, we decided to try the restaurant next to our hotel. A very pleasant surprise - especially after the terrible food in Palermo!Service - Very good service - particularly the young man who seemed to be the more seasoned waiter. Know some Italian!!! We always travel with our pocket dictionary and it was needed but the staff also took the time to work through words where we were both at a loss.Wine - A do not recall what it was except that it was white, light-bodied, perhaps a blend, balanced fruit and minerality. The list was short but attractive and better than some we had seen.Antipasti - Fresh and delicious meats and cheeses. See photos.Primi piatti - My spouse had Cavati alla Norma (pasta with eggplant, tomato sauce and ricotta) and I had a special but cannot recall what it was except elbow macaroni with cheese and mushrooms. Both were very good.Secondi piatti - I had the simple Bistecca alla griglia and my spouse had a special. Again, cannot recall what it was. Should have made a note. It was some form of scallopine with melted cheese. See photos. Both were tender and well prepared. We did not try any seafood given our experiences in Palermo. We ended the meal with fresh pineapple (it looked anemic but was tender and sweet) and a couple of Limoncello. I highly recommend this restaurant. We did not encounter similar quality until we arrived at Ragusa where we had the best meals in Sicily!

After an evening enjoying one of the huge range of delicious and substantial - great oblong discs of the softest dough baked to just the right level of crispness, smothered in your chosen toppings - anchovies, mozerrella, crushed garlic, mushrooms, parmesan, proscuitto, speck, spinach, wild fennel, tomatoes - the list is really only limited by imagination- you will never - i promise you look at a Pizza Hut in the same way again.Enjoy a wonderful evening in delightful surroundings - with plenty of a robust house wine to wash down the last slices of gastronomic delight. Near the Redemptore - you need your car to get here - so someone needs to be on Aqua Frizante! Plenty of parking - no need to book out of high season but always gets busy after 9.00pm

This activity was designed as a showcase for the products of our farm and those of the local area. For this reason, our kitchen offers dishes "Km 0" linked to the rural tradition , but with an eye to the contemporary. Agriturismo LE 5 PIETRE therefore off
Set in an agricultural area away from all the hustle and bustle of the city, sits this restaurant with breathtaking views. Food selection is great, wine selection is from local regions and compliments the dinner. Hi, we thank you for your review. It was a pleasure for us you enjoyed everything. We hope you will come back soon.Best regards,Michele Giarratano

The old mill was established in 1997 and over time, thanks to the passion and quality of service, becomes a popular restaurant and pizzeria. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, and you can taste the first, second, and meat and fish dishes, all recip
We live in Naples and know our pizza, and are in Sicily on vacation. Our vacation home host recommended we try this place for dinner as it is just up the road. The pizza here was delicious! The atmosphere was warm and friendly, even for a busy Friday night. Service was quick and efficient. My husband had the Vulcano, I had the Bush, and my kids had a Margherita and a 4 Formaggio. Everything was fantastic. Large bottle of water, 2 sodas, and .5L red wine, plus 4 pizzas for â¬35 made it even better. The waiter even brought my husband and I limoncello after our meal on the house. If we travel back this way, we would definitely stop again!

Really good and cheap pizzas, fast service, reasonable prices of beer, nice staff... Great place. It's not that hard to find if you have the exact address (no. 15). Will return if I'll have a chance.

We had tried once before to get in to eat at this restaurant. We read the TA reviews which piqued our interest.Beside being a little difficult to find and park we were welcomed even without a reservation. We went for lunch not dinner. It was a Sunday which is family day. There were several tables with families in addition to a private event going on in another room.We still had attentive service. Our waiter spoke no English and what Italian my husband knows wasn't getting us anywhere. So with some suggestions of our waiter in Italian we figured out this was going to be the way it is.He selected an appetizer selection of 7 or 8 different plates with fish prepared each in its own way. Some fried, raw, salad and so on. A little raw tuna, fried cod, shrimp salad, fried squid, cold octopus salad...All were super fresh and tasty.Lots of flavors of the sea.Our entree was also a suggestion. Sea Urchin are plentiful right now. Neither my husband or I have ever had it before. We could not even with google translate, figure out what Ricci was. Google said it was 'hedgehog', didn't think that was possible since we are in a fish house! So we waited for it to come to the table. It was a fresh sea urchin sauce mixed into spaghetti. It tasted fine until I started getting hard crunchy things much like sand in my mouth.Still not knowing what we were eating so I had no idea what I was crunching on.My husband didn't get the shell like I did.We both finished our plates still without knowing what we had eaten! The flavor was tasty and the dish prepared well.I personally would not order it again, I was happy to have tasted it.My husband enjoyed his meal s bit more then I did.It want until 3 days later we actually found out what we had been served! We saw it on another menu, asked our server who informed us.The chef came out and greeted his regular customers, he looked at us and did not come over to us. The faces that he did not recognize.Highly recommend reservations! Parking is free but limited.Beautiful decorated, almost like wedding decor. Linen (cotton) table cloths, nice flatware and comfortable environment.Thank you for choosing our restaurant, we will try to improve our gaming English. Best regards
