The food is very very good, and you get good sized portions. Not the quietest place to dine if you want to relax. The servers are very nice.

This place is just average. Drinks and food are just ok. No big deal. Prices are moderate. It could use a major renovation. Walls and fixtures are old and dingy. The pizza and appetizers are ok, i've had worse before!

Wanted some pizza tonight, do sis and I stopped here. Quick seating, drinks appeared quickly as well. Pizza was very good... thin crust and delish toppings. Love to support a long time neighborhood place!

Family-owned and operated Grassano's has quick and friendly service, and if you know what to order, you'll get terrific food at a fantastic price. The thin crust pizza is nothing to talk about, but their deep dish is legit. This is particularly true if you order the large stuffed/deep dish with breaded eggplant - trust me, it sounds weird, but it's phenomenal. It takes like Eggplant parmesan, but better, because it has the chewy, cheesy thickness of a chicago style stuffed pizza. Another great option is the individual cheese stuffed/deep dish. For some reason, the size of the pizza complements itself, as the crust is the right texture, and the sauce is sweet enough to just perfectly scandalize the top quality mozzarella in each delicious, comforting bite. And if you feel like being in high school again for just one meal, dive into any of the epic pizza puffs (you can split one, be reasonably full, and it is 3.75).

I don't know what happened to this pizza, was the best pizza in hickory hills area since I moved here in 1990. Now it is the worst, maybe it's new ownership maybe changed the ingredients I don't know. Been like this 4 to 5 months.

My husband and I read about Vito and Nick's on several foodie websites, so we placed it on our Chicago itinerary for a recent long weekend trip. We were so excited! Since the train did not come close to Vito and Nick's we opted to pay around $40 ($20 each way) for an Uber from the River North area down to Vito and Nick's neighborhood. Once we got there, we sat down and ordered. As we looked around, we realized that no one else in the restaurant had any food on their tables. The bartender (a very loud man who appeared to be in management) complained about the servers and/or hostess calling in sick...for the entire 1.5 hours that we were there. Once we got our food, it was not worth eating...and I LOVE pizza...especially super thin crust! The pictures I saw online drew me in, but the taste left me so disappointed. I didn't even eat my half of the pizza, and that says a lot because I will eat almost any pizza. Don't make the same tourist mistake we did by reading great things online about this place. It's either lost its edge or someone out there is spreading lies on the Internet!I've traveled across 4 continents and eaten at (and reviewed!) a ton of restaurants, hotels, and things to do. I would love to continue to share my knowledge about restaurants, things to do, and hotels with you as I travel to new places. Be sure to follow me on Trip Advisor to get my latest updates! For outstanding Italian cuisine, look no further than Palermo's 95th. This family run, award winning restaurant specializes in authentic veal, steak, pasta, and fresh seafood creations for lunch and dinner. Established in 1961 by Ben and Nina Calderone, t
Was there with family for dinner. Service was slow. I ordered the eggplant on texas toast and what I got was a toasted french like split roll with one or two slices of cheese with marinara sauce and two small slices of eggplant. I wound up cutting the excess bread away and had a 3x3 inch 'meal'. The cole slaw was also pretty bad.

Phils has one of the best pizzas in the chicagoland area. When it's my turn to get the pizza for the football game I always order from phils. It's always done perfectly and the taste is fantastic. You won't regret eating a pizza from phils..

Famous Chicago-style deep dish pizza right in your neighborhood. Visit us for a family-friendly atmosphere and delicious food or order your meal online for pickup or delivery.
While I had heard about another restaurant in the area serving Chicago deep dish pizza, the hotel clerk recommended Giordanoâs instead. We are from the Northeast and are not accustomed to Chicago style. We ordered a medium deep dish Veggie. What came to us was pure heaven: cheese and sauce on top, veggies in the middle, crust below. It surely was a treat for us. Our server was kind and attentive.
