We had been visiting friends in the neighborhood of this Beggars Pizza and they suggested that we order a pizza from Beggars Pizza. It is located in the Stonebrook Shopping Center, so there is plenty of parking. We ordered a large stuffed sausage pizza and we thought it was pretty good. The price was reasonable and there was more than enough for the four of us. The staff was efficient and the pizza was ready right on time - as promised. They have a varied menu,

Ordered sandwiches and salad to be delivered a couple weeks ago. Ordered the chicken Parmesan and the BBQ chicken. BBQ chicken was awful. Basically they just put a ton of BBQ sausage on the chicken and put it on the bun. The sandwich was swimming in the BBQ sauce. The chicken Parmesan was more cheese then chicken and the quality of chicken was poor. The person who took the order said the sandwiches came with fries but there were no fries delivered. Salad was ok. Very disappointing.

Excellent pizza and great delivery. Tons of sauce and cheese. Always delivered hot. When neighbors travel far from home, most order out here the first night they are home!
Went for my first visit and heard good things so I wanted to see for myself. Not a big place. You have to seat yourself. When we walked in a lot of the tables were reserved for large parties and then the rest were taken surprisingly with families and young children which again surprised me since this is a brewery type setting. They do have have a large bar area and we lucked out as a nice gentleman waved us over and moved down a chair so we had 2 seats together. I loved the drink selection. My husband loves to try craft beers so he was happy and I had a cucumber mule which was excellent. But to order food you have to leave your seats and order at their "food truck" at the side of the restaurant. Problem was there were no food menus at the bar for us to look at. We ended up pulling the menu on our phones. I stayed at our seats while my husband went to order. During this whole time tons of young children running around yelling, crying while their parents our standing by the bar drinking cocktails. Not too relaxing for the other patrons. And people still coming in looking for seats but in the same boat we were in. I just don't understand if you have no hostess then don't reserve tables and take up all your free seats for customers coming in. It is a shame because several people left and probably will not come back. And honestly the food was really good. I had a burger with bacon, cheese curds and cheddar cheese and my husband had one of the brick oven pizzas. Need to rethink that whole seating arrangement.
My family and I wanted a quick and fun dinner so we decided why not pizza hut! The costumer service was fine but the wait was ridiculous. We were told that it was only going to be a 30 minute wait, we were ok with that! unfortunately, we wined up having to wait longer a little more than an hour and a half and finally. By this time my family was cranky and our stomachs were ready to devour the food let's sit in front of us which mind you we were waiting so long for. when our food arrived it wasn't even our order... and on top of all this the good was terrible cold and bread sticks and marinara sauce was cold and hard as well... I cant describe the anger thar begin to build up inside. So I politely called the manager and stated what was wrong and how could they possibly get our order wrong? Since they had us wait an hour longer than expected and to top it off cold food! I do not recommend the pizza hut in blue island if you have a taste for pizza hut I highly suggest the one in tinley park! Better service and the food is hot :)
It's mostly a bar but they make pizza and have delivery the pizza is good and has been in business for a long time
We Love Giuseppe's in Blue Island. Each time we return, I try a new dish and have never been disappointed. Not long ago, the owner, Frank, suggested we try the Tiramisu his sister Maria makes. Not a big "sweet" eater, I tried it (to be polite). It was out of this world! Since then I ordered a full sheet cake for my mother's birthday. Everyone at he party raved about it. Can't wait til holiday's are closer---to order another and bring it along for all to try!

This was our 2nd time having a large party at the 12700 S. Kedzie Ave. location. Unlike our 1st experience last year, Beggars did an overall poor and unacceptable job with our 2017 party. As instructed by their party coordinator we arrive at 12:30 for decorating for our 1:00 party. Having dropped our tablecloths off the day prior we expected to find the banquet room almost ready by 12:30. Instead, we arrived at 12:30 for our 1:00 party to a completely dark and empty room! Communication throughout our event was terrible, we had to find the servers and ask the servers for everything. The servers had no idea how to host or communicate with us. Around 1:30 the food started coming out at random but no one ever communicated with us that all the food was out on the buffet and that the food was ready to serve, so the food sat out longer than it needed to. We had to hunt for and find the server and ask if we could start eating. Then once we started serving food from the family-style buffet, food items naturally started running and the Beggars staff were not around to replenish the food items on the buffet leaving the balance of our guests standing in a line. Once again, no communication and no server around. I had to find the server and tell them we ran out of food which then took forever to replenish at this point because literally every food item was empty. Please think twice before booking a banquet event at this location! We never found a Beggars manager during our entire 3 hour event.

We arrived in town and I saw the review and decided we had to try it. We got a seat in the bar area. There were various TVs around but the sound was down. The waitress showed up and I told her we had no idea as to what was the best to order. She suggested the meatball appetizer. --- DoneWe then ordered two different Italian dishes. Way too much food. The meatballs were very good. The appetizer is 15 (I think) small meatballs with sauce (gravy) and cheese. Very tasty. We finished half of them. The meals were good too and, of course, we took food to our daughter's for her to have leftovers.Best was the chef came out to chat with us and others. I always like that they come out and see what people think of their dishes. I'm glad we went.
