We recently went to Joey garlics and had a really good dinner. Itâs not my choice for authentic Italian they do have better than average Italian food. The service was good there were seats available we didnât have to wait in the handicap access was excellent. A young woman was saving two seats at the bar for friends, which really is nonsense. Bartenders didnât want to interject.Thank you so much for visiting! I couldn't be happier to hear you enjoyed your dinner with us! I'm sorry if your experience was anything less than perfect in the bar area. Our bar is self-seating, and I apologize if that put a damper on your visit. I hope we will get another chance to welcome you back for another delicious meal!
Really good pizza, nice menu various choices reasonable prices.the pizza is very thin crust tasty sauce a lot of different concoction s a little pricy for thin pizza but very good, had the eggplant park, not so good and the grinders are good as long as you eat them there ,got them to go ( had to go to new Britain, old highschool) by the time I got there they were soggy....service is good
We made an unscheduled visit to the Ave on Valentine's day and I was surprised by the number of vehicles that can be accommodated in the parking lot situated behind the restaurant. Both the bar and dining room were filled to near capacity, but we were immediately seated at a table for 2 which worked nicely since there were 2 of us. We had made up our minds to order pizza so the menu received a cursory glance at most. A well executed large pizza with mozzarella will set you back a mere $11 and our pint glasses of Coors light came in at $4 each. Service throughout was friendly. The only negatives were the elevated noise level and the limited number of beers on draft, but those won't deter us from making a return visit.

I know it's a pizza place and the pizza is very good but when I want a hot dog this is the place that I go to. The people are so nice and the food is good. It's not fancy at all but that doesn't matter. Chili Cheese Dogs are my favorite.

My family and I love this pizza restaurant. The pizza is hot and cheesy and delicious. You can even get a pitcher of beer with it. It's really beautiful to sit at the tables in front of the windows when it's snowing outside. The parking is horrible since the town 'beautified' the area, but it's worth the parking issue!
We stopped in for a meal here about a month ago and then stopped in again last night with another couple to get a better idea of what to expect. Both times, the restaurant had a good crowd consisting mostly of families with children ordering pizza and grinders. We cannot comment about the quality of that food since we selected meals off the menu and the specials board.Service was quite good on the first visit and the meals were average. I chose a veal dish and my wife selected a chicken dish. Portions were large and there was little to say about the food, other than we weren't disappointed with anything about our visit and we left there with the impression that this place fell in line with the many locally owned Italian restaurants in the greater Hartford area.Second visit was a complete turnaround from the first. The maitre'd told us on arrival that we could not sit in a booth even though there were about 5 or 6 available. No big deal, but everyone who came in after us got a booth on request. Not sure why but it irked us because the tables were a little small for four diners. Maybe they were saving them for the clueless parents with rude and noisy kids?? Anyway, took a little too long for the waitress to come over and take our drink orders, then it took a little too long for her to bring the drinks. Food orders were taken, salads came out in time and then we waited...and waited. Almost an hour later, the waitress and another waitress/owner? came over apologizing that our order got lost, and we were going to get another round of drinks on the house. Ok, fair enough. Food arrived and thankfully, it was wonderfully good. The tilapia and shrimp with mushrooms over pasta and marinara was worth dying for. The shrimp with capers over pasta was the same. Baked ziti meal was a little bit overcooked, but was good enough to take a large portion home. I can't remember what the fourth diner ordered, but she loved it and took home was she couldn't finish on the plate. In the end, four very happy diners. After the meal, the Owner treated us to a small glass of wine each with further apologies (really wasn't necessary at that point) and then on the way out, he told us to take what was left in the bottle with us, which was easily a half a bottle. This is what good service is supposed to be about. I won't have any concerns about coming here in the future.Dinner for four with one round of drinks was a very reasonable $74.

I live in Wells, Maine. My brother lives in Berlin, Connecticut. Whenever I visit him, I always order a large sausage Parmesan from Bill's. The sandwich is 2 feet long and filled with meat, sauce, and cheese. The meatball is good. The pizza is pretty good too. However, for me, it's the sausage.

The environment here at Pine Loft Pizzeria and Cafe is extremely warm and comfortable with no dress code or expectations from the guest. This is a restaurant for everyone! Great food, along with Monday Karaoke nights, Open Mic Thursdays and live performan
Dinner here while listening music as the CT Blues Society holds their annual solo/ duo competition here. My Philly cheese steak was far from awesome as the waitress recommended. Steak was tough, little cheese and pretty dry overall. Our Fiend would not even eat her meatball grinder. Meatballs seemed mostly bread. On the good side, my wife enjoyed her stuffed shells and our other companion liked his Cobb salad. We should try the pizza next time. Other reviewers seemed to like that. And service was not especially good. Maybe due to more people than usual with the music. Long wait for food and had to ask twice before we even got water.

Being raised in Berlin, Central Pizza is a staple business. Remember when they were in the plaza next door when they first opened. I've since moved to Maryland and always stop in to get pizza or a grinder whenever I come home. Keep up the great food!!!!!
