Got takeout and was reasonably happy. Service was fast and friendly. My meatball sub had what they call "Family-recipe meatballs"; I think they were cheap pre-frozen meatballs... eatable but I'd rather have house made. My wife's Steak Hoagie Marinara didn't have the shaved steak we're used to back East... it was a steak patty. Not great but the location and prices were right.

Ok sub. Nothing special. Overpriced for a half sub and boring regular potato chips. Not a lot of turkey but only a small dab of cheese. Couldn't even taste the cheese. I had to open the sandwich and look for it. Pretzels were good but cheese for pretzels wasn't very good.

Everyone enjoyed their meal after we were moved from the open window area. It was close to sunset and it was a very sunny area. The sun was blinding for one person so we were moved to another part of the dining room. The burgers were cooked exactly as ordered. The fries were hot. It was an enjoyable meal.We are so happy to hear you had a positive experience at MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub. Thank you for taking the time to share, and we hope to see you again soon.

Reesturant is relatively new on the Italian food scene. Small dining room, friendly service and of course...good food. Portions are generous and served hot. Suggest the lasagna and salad with the house dressing (if you love garlic). Variety of domestic and imported beer and wines to satisfy your taste.Family friendly If you go on a weekend expect to wait unless you go before 5:00pm. Not open Sunday.
They have 2 styles of pizza, Neapolitan style which is their traditional hand tossed and their homemade Sicilian square pizza which is a thick crust pizza with onion and garlic in the sauce. I chose the Neapolitan sausage/mushroom and pepperoni/sausage. Both had quite a bit of meat and mushrooms. The staff was really friendly. Prices were very reasonable. This location was near Wright State and I am sure they have a lot of business.

New York style pizza is right on. We watched the cook hand toss the crusts.Good show.At lunch there are specials, subs included, but this visit they were out of sub rolls. Mom likes the eggplant parm sub, but this visit she got a healthy almost dinner sized portion. Delicious and the sauce was too.Lunch time gets a little crowded, so come as early as you can. Opens at 11.Service is great.

I picked up 3 pizza's on Saturday and took them with me to see my son, his fiancé and my grandchildren. I absolutely love this pizza. It was a childhood favorite and it is still a favorite 50 years later. I love the pepperoni that they use. And the sauce is good too. You can't beat the prices compared to other pizza places. So if you want a good pizza, call Joe's!

You wouldn't think that Dayton would have great pizza places if you weren't from the area, but they certainly do. Marions is one of them. The pizzeria has a classic look and feel, and the food is great. Its a little more expensive if you want good food, but it is completely worth it. The sausage pizza is really good, as is the premium - be prepared to pay a premium as well though.

Thanks to the incredibly helpful folks at Pies and Pints, we were able to host our son and now daughter-in-laws wedding rehearsal dinner with carry out "pies" which were incredible and disappeared! The bride and groom insisted that this was their food of choice and could not have been more pleased!! Okay, maybe if we'd had a few more "pies"!!Thanks for the awesome review, Peggy! We're so happy for the opportunity to have been a part of their special day :)

We stopped by for dinner at 7PM on a Saturday, and as advertised, enjoyed gourmet pizza, craft beer, and live music. From the selections on tap, I chose the outstanding $6 Grapefruit Jungle (GFJ) American IPA from the Indianapolis based Sun King Brewing Company. Our seasoned server, Liz, took very good care of us and always made sure we had everything we needed. Little things like bringing us red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese shakers for our pizza, drink refill checks, and a short wait time for the to go box and the check after asking for them go along way.The two of us shared a 12-Inch Jamaica Marley ($17.95) Gourmet Pizza, or as I like to call it, the Jamaican Me Marley pizza. Its ingredients are BBQ sauce, jerk-spiced chicken, bacon, black beans, red onions, mozzarella and Gouda cheese, with fresh cilantro sprinkled on lastly. It was delicious and we were both very pleased. I was also quite happy with my pairing choice of the Grapefruit Jungle IPA with this Caribbean inspired pizza. We got to enjoy live music from a local folk/indie band, The American Landscape. It was a nice surprise as we didn't expect to be hearing a live band playing Radiohead's 1993 alternative rock hit, "Creep" when we initially picked this restaurant. As this is a family dining establishment, the band sang a welcomed, censored version of the song. I would have stayed longer and listened to more of them, but we had other plans afterwards.
