Elias was our assigned photographer he understood our needs perfectly and worked with us very well. He took the most amazing pictures of my daughter. Even though I did not want my own picture taken he also convinced me of that. Many locations are closed in Morocco currently because of covid but we found many beautiful alternate locations instead. There is so much beauty in Marrakech you will definitely want to document it with this group. Pictures were delivered to us two days later while we were still on vacation. I asked for a few edits and the group was very cooperative in providing them.

Harajuku is the city that created Japan's "Kawaii" culture. Kawaii translates directly into lovely, cute, and pretty, but "kawaii" born in Harajuku has a unique worldview that doesn't fit in these. The concept of “kawaii” cannot be described in one word, but in general, it may be understood as a weird one using flashy patterns and frills, primary colors, and pastel colors. The origin of kawaii culture is said to have started in the 1980s when young people purchased the strange fashion that was found in a store in Harajuku. In Harajuku, there are many clothing stores and cafes where you can enjoy a unique world of cuteness!

There's no building like the Nakagin Capsule Tower in the whole world, and sadly it's not clear how long is going to last. After years of admiring the building from the outside, I decided to discover the inside. I was so lucky that my guide Yuka was available for a visit on December 31st, it was a fantastic way for me to finish the strange year 2020. The history of the building is just fascinating, and listening to it while you inside make you understand a lot about the history of Tokyo and Japan itself. Architecturally and aesthetically, the building is just astonishing, so unique. I totally recommend the experience ... before it's too late. I keep my fingers crossed and hope that this magnificent piece of architecture gets the recognition it deserves because I truly believe Tokyo wouldn't be the same without it.

What's the Story? Enter a world of chaotic motion, neon lights, and smoky back alleys. With nightfall, the heart of the metropolis awakens and comes alive with flowing masses of people and traffic bathed in iridescent streams of color. We'll also do some night street photography during the workshop, covering how to shoot quickly and get sharp photos even in dark conditions. Where We'll Explore We'll delve into the heart of Shinjuku and Shibuya. We start off at Shinjuku Station, head towards Kabukicho, and end up in Omoideyokocho (Memory Lane). After that we'll go by train to Shibuya and ending our journey in the famous scramble crossing.

I had the pleasure of a totally bespoke tour of the back alleys of various parts of nighttime Tokyo with EYExplore professional Charles. I can't praise this experience enough. Firstly, Charles is an experienced photo pro with a complete knowledge of the art and a huge arsenal of tips and tricks he readily shares. Having been a shooter for years, I can honesty say I learned a lot from Charlie. Second, after a discussion of what I was looking for image-wise, Charles put together a fantastic tour starting in my hotel lobby in Shinagawa where we met and then we hit a TON of off-the-beaten-path areas with fantastic photographic appeal. From tiny back alleys to marketplaces, to above-the street perspectives and unique rainy night opportunities. Lastly, the tour was thorough. We trained and walked for hours, had great conversations and Charles' quirky sense of humor kept it lively the whole time. I was happily exhausted at the conclusion lat in the night. I will totally book another bespoke tour on my next visit.
