Pros- nice setting. Decor is lovely.Con:-Limited menu (pizza/alpaca/beef)-Could do with heating.-Service very slow for both food and drinks (30minutes for a pisco sour and 2.5 hours for a pizza....we were the only customers in the restaurant!)-we were a party of 4: all meals served at different times.-After 2.5 hour wait for pizza, it was burnt and inedible.-No apology from anyone for the huge wait.We paid our bill and went home hungry and cold.Avoid this place!

If you would like to taste great Cordero or Alpac or T bone meat prepared in the right way with excellent rice or crispy fried patatas then this is the place in town. But especially the attentive and pro active staff make your stay even better. Compliments for Gabriella! Such a nice person, smart and obliging, would love to take you with me.

Buffet restaurant with Peruvian and local food. We are located on the corner of the Main Square, our products are local and we offer a vegetarian opcion every day.
Popular with guides to feed their groups at lunchtime, evidently. Beautifully laid out buffet in clay pots, using herbs and dried foods for decoration. Great range of foods for all tastes including vegetarian. Fantastic quinoa soup. Bread, Causa, salads and fruits, assorted meats including chicken wings.

Our tour bus stopped here for lunch. The buffet was 30 soles and selection was quite decent - wide variety of soups, salads, vegetables, chicken, alpaca, fish desserts. I particularly liked the quinoa soup, the hearty lentil soup (with potatoes and lamb meat) , and the trout. The desserts were also quite good. Tried a typical Peruvian Catcus friut and it was delicious. They accept Mastercard which was an additional plus for us.
We are a restaurant specialised in making pizzas and typical food of Colca. We have a family atmosphere where you can feel at home.
What a great little place! Meal in the USD6-8 range. Pizza Loma Saltado was excellent; you could not pack more toppings onto this thing. Also a good place to try alpaca steak. Excellent REAL French fries from scratch. Good wifi.

Maray is a quiet and exclusive place where you can experience fine cuts of alpaca meat, trout, beef, lamb over hot volcanic rock on your table. You can enjoy a freshly prepared meal and cook it according to your personal taste, be it rare, medium or well
I´ve been in Peru for 3 weeks and really missed a taste of home. I went to Maray based on TA reviews solely. The pizza was very good. Most places in Peru make and bake the dough ahead of time or they use something akin to pita bread (without the pocket) for dough. Gross. I was happy to see they make their own dough and baked it there when they baked my pizza. Was it Italy? No. Would I go back, yes! As others mentioned they serve it on the hot stone they bake it on which made sure it stayed really hot for a looonnng time (cold food, I've found, is prevalent in Peru, unfortunately). My only negative is the service. Was fairly non-existent. I had to ask for everything I needed (no one checked in on me at all), however, that shouldn't keep you away, just plan for it. I did go at an odd time, 130pm on a Tuesday, so that might be part of it.

Enjoy the best lunch you can have in Yanque, with a marvellous view around the canyon and our volcano Sabancaya. Our food and local ingredients are 100% organic and brought to you from local farmers. We focus on delivering an exceptional experience to all
Stopped here for lunch on our bus tour in through the Colca Canyon. Food was excellent, all made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Mamma Juanita, the owner, endures everyone has something delicious to eat. I personally recommend the corn soup, and the avocado salad ( I'm a vegetarian), but everyone in our group raved about the food. Large bathrooms, spotless, with soap and paper towels. Good day dear Pat F thank you very much for your words a hug from the Colca Atte: Juanita
