Reviews on Peruvian food in San Pedro de Atacama, Antofagasta Region, Chile. Looking for an unusual and beautiful landscape? Sandstone canyons, flamingo-dotted salt flats, steaming geysers, hot springs, volcanic peaks and alien-looking rock formations are on offer all around San Pedro de Atacama. Hiking, biking and horseback riding are the preferred means of exploration. Death Valley here is surprisingly great for picnics.

This is one of the more budget-friendly, local-looking options in town. Their set menu costs only 3500 CLP, which is a bargain. The food was simple, but good for this price. The unacceptable part for me was the extremely slow service. It took forever until we got food and it was equally difficult to pay. The waitress conveniently ignored our drink orders. Not worth the stress.

We are a cozy restaurant, with a great atmosphere, great service and a great space to share with the family. We specialize in Peruvian food although we also have all kinds of international food. We have alcoholic drinks and cocktails to enjoy the best atm
We were recommended this restaurant by our tour agency and also enticed by the offer of a free drink each. We opted for the meat assortment, chips and a salad. The meal was average, but when it came to paying the bill the 10% tip was automatically added plus they charged $200 for a âdoggie boxâ.

The ceviche was extremely spicy, with red pepper flakes throughout - when I tried to send it back I was told with a lot of attitude that i was in was a âPeruvianâ restaurant so it was supposed to be spicy. They wouldnât take it back and told me I should have told him I didnât want it spicy. The service was poor; I had to flag down waiters to get attention. Lunch at this restaurant was the low point of a beautiful weekend in San Pedro.

We offer a wide variety of sauces, which can be tasted red and white, in addition to salmon and pippin (fish), we also have dishes such as ceviche and vegetarian among others.
Frankly speaking not a bad cusine. But two glasses of orange juice was with a mold. Waiter was not polite, he chaged first funged glass and refused to change second with a less amount of mold. I was very surprised to get such a quality of service.Hi ! We really regret what happened and the waiter was the most affected, why I try to find the solution and you did not want to change the second juice, why? We asked the same thing why we were both present, then I offered you dessert, with a lot of willingness to fix what happened and you didn't want to, we hope you enjoy San Pedro and know how to accept the help of others.Atte.Team Ckunza Tilar Restaurant

Best place to experience and enjoy a delicious "Chilean Empanada" and other kinds of delicious Chilean and international food. The place is small and familiar ambiance, the attendance is on the owners and the flavors have a touch of mastery of the Peruvia
Came for an empanada one lunchtime; enjoyed it so much we came back another day for another. Very good value too. Also came back for a take-away coffee as they do really good coffee, and our hotel didn't! Heard 'Katarpe' mentioned by several others in our tour group, all of whom raved over the empanadas!I should mention it's a small place. We had to queue outside the first time we went until a table was free, but worth the wait.Thank you for visiting us and for dedicating your valuable time to leave us this kind and complete comment, it fills us with joy to know that our food to people from all over the world, you are welcome every time you wish to return.
