The organization has operated continuously for over 100 years making Vagabond Players the oldest continuously operating community theater in the United States. Founded in the early 1900’s as a part of the vanguard of America’s “Little Theater” movement, the organization has called its current location, the Vagabond Theatre, home for over 40 years. We have been an important part of the rich history of Fells Point and Baltimore City’s cultural landscape.
Enjoyed a spirited production of “Brighton Beach Memoirs” at this cozy, intimate theater. Excellent affordable community theater with the bonus of being able to enjoy Fells Point before or after the show!

Jazz on the Chesapeake, one of Chesapeake Music's programs, is in the business of surprises and never more so than this December 11th. Chuck Redd, recently recognized by Hot House Jazz magazine as the nation's best vibraphonist in 2015, has assembled an All-Star band to create holiday magic. Capturing this musical surprise is pianist Ted Rosenthal who just days earlier is headlining a concert at Lincoln Center performing Gershwin's Concerto for Piano in F major. Ted will be appearing with Chuck and taking the piano lead. He is likely to include songs that are featured in his album Wonderland. Turn up your speaker, click on the album cover below, enjoy a musical journey and then join us for Wonderland live at The Academy Art Museum. This December 11 concert starts at 8:00 PM and is being held at the Academy Art Museum. Chesapeake Music brings world-class chamber music and jazz to audiences both young and old on Maryland's Eastern Shore and beyond. CM presents a 13-event, two-week long chamber music festival each June, a jazz festival each Labor Day weekend, an international competition for young chamber ensembles, and occasional concerts throughout the year.

I attended the last ghost Hunt of the season last night. I had a great time. Vince was very knowledgeable and I had great conversations with him. I loved the Speakeasy, and the Ball rooms. I wished the Sky Bar doors to the roof were opened to investigate out there, but maybe next time. The Spirit session was pretty cool and we did have some shadows out and about. this was a great Trip. I was here for a Scentsy conference and saw they had a ghost hunt at the hotel, and being a paranormal investigator, I couldn't pass this up.

Antietam Recreation specializes in providing family fun in a Christian atmosphere. Attended by over 8,000 people each year, our dinner shows offer a wide array of evening entertainment for all ages. In November and December our holiday show "The Christmas Experience" includes live animals, horse rides, wagon rides, beautiful decorations, delicious meal & dessert, and 2 hour extravaganza show. It's the perfect Christmas tradition! Just in time for spring (March and April), "A Century of Song" is a retro-style dinner show offering a whirlwind trip through America's musical favorites of the last hundred years. If you love rock-n-roll and record players, poodle skirts and swing dancing, then this is the show for you! Includes a diner style meal and dessert sure to please.
Was visiting my girlfriend in VA, and in searching online for things to do, came across this place and their Christmas production. We drove an hour to get there on the last night of their 2019 season . Everything about the evening was a delightful experience for my girlfriend and I. The food was great. The servers were well trained and very pleasant. The show and the performers were amazing, and wouldn't have been the same without the high resolution backdrop screens that added so much to the production. I'm not one to rave about decor, but the stage lighting and the scene on the backdrop screen during dinner added much to the dining experience. We enjoyed all the "extras" that were included in the cost, including the wagon ride and the short drama they put on. My girlfriends loved the heated benches on the wagon, even though it was a fairly warm night for late December. The campfire, with marshmallows to roast, was a nice touch as well. We go to a lot of theater, but I would classify this evening more as a production or an experience. We likely will return for the spring show if it fits out schedule.
