The Alhambra citadel of Granada is one of the most famous buildings in Spain: a Moorish fortress with grand archways and delicate ornamental mosaics. Step backwards in time as you wind through the ascending cobblestone streets of Albayzin. You’ll be rewarded with beautiful views from the Mirador San Nicolas. Granada’s nightlife is vibrant and varied, thanks in part to its student population. Hit the bars of Calle Elvira or, for a quieter outing, the traditional tea rooms of La Calle de Las Teterias.

This tiny place in Albaicin would be easy to miss if you didn't know it was there. It's basically someone's house with a tiny reception area at the front and a seating area for about twelve people in the back room where the music is performed. On the night we went there was a guitarist and cantor who were, quite simply, mesmerizing. Their musicianship and obvious love of real flamenco came through in every piece played and the intimacy of the venue added to the memorable experience. Truly unforgettable - thank you Jacob, Marcus and hosts.

Flamenco Los Olvidados is located inside Palacio de los Olvidados, at the foot of the Alhambra, next to Carrera del Darro, one of the most enchanted and charming places of Granada. This building, from the 16th century, has been recovered to offer traditional flamenco shows with renowned flamenco artists that will show the passion, excitement and soul of this art during this one-hour show.
A guitar player, female singer, a male dancer and a female dancer gave a fantastic show! Just enjoying the flamenco, not distracted by food or drinks. We totally enjoyed the experience.

We are a FLAMENCO SHOW CAVE in Granada located in the picturesque district of Sacromonte and it is considered one of the main tourist attractiveness in our city. Today fifty years after its founding we continue organizing every night the gypsy tipycal folklore of Sacromonte masterfully offered by the descendents of María La Canastera responsible for maintaining the tradition that she left .
This was definitely one of the highlights of our two-week tour through southern Spain. I would definitely recommend this as the flamenco option if you have to pick one in your trip. The venue is so unique and intimate compared to other shows I have seen advertised and a show we also saw in Seville that was in a more typical stage-like venue. The dancers and musicians had a real energy and genuine sense of connection and joy about them the entire time. The music was fantastic and the dancing was moving and exhilarating. On top of that, they include pick-up and drop-off, which makes it super convenient (I would advise this option not only for convenience but also, at least for us, we got there just before the show started so we got to sit along the walls that gave us a really close-up view of the entire show). This experience will stay with me forever. I loved it!

This small venue put on a world class show. The four performers (guitarist, singer, male and female dancers) were outstanding, and created an atmosphere of incredible intensity of emotion, reinforced by their superb technical abilities. This is a show not to be missed. The performance lasted about an hour which was just right.

Restaurante espectaculo de flamenco
If you want great music, great dancing and great singing and witness the most authentic flamenco experience in Granada, go to hear these performers in the famous caves of Sacromonte, high up in the Albaycin of the city. This is where the Roma/Gitanos of Granada live. After the fall of the Moorish empire in 1492, the Roma arrived and carved cave homes into the hillside for protection.

We came here since our tour guide recommended it and we are glad we took her advice. We booked the show with drinks no dinner. So cannot comment on the dinner. Sangrias were good! This is as authentic as it can get.Real flamenco, by real gypsies. Must watch while in Granada. Having seen many a Broadway kind of theater style dancing shows, we loved this authentic one in the caves of Sacromonte.6 Dancers, 2 singers and 2 guitarists entertain you for 2 hours. Well worth the money! The energy in the room is something not to be missed! Highly recommend it!
