Our room was very clean and the airconditioning worked perfect. The host was very friendly and helpfull, he showed us the way to a good local restaurant. Breakfast was good but nothing special. The small town and beach are walking distance.

We stayed there for 5 days but we wanted to leave on the first day. We were hungry after the dinner, luckily there is a shop just next to the place. We though the half board will be a buffet. But no.. we had to eat cans for dinner. My husband had some plastic "things" is his food and the squid was nearly raw. I wanted to leave right away but did not wanted to loose the money we paied. On the second day the amount of breakfast was ridicilus so we ended in the shop agaig. After that we just went to the Tommy's and bought lots of food for the rest of he week. Such a bad a experience, never ever starving on vacations. If I would get my money back I would on the first day...

We (2) stayed two days in the small appartment, then after our sailing week returned to Dia and upgraded to the bigger flat with kitchen - both are absolutely perfect, clean and cosy. Good beds. The house is located 5min from Konzum supermarket and ±10min from the City centre, the Marina, and the beach. Very friendly host, did a lot to accomodate us, and even delegated family to assist us when she couldn't! A great stay, good value for the price, will surely be back.

Very nice & clean room. Comfy soft beds, quiet and very well equipped too. We were on business trip, and have stayed one night only. Owners were very kind, and let us in even if we get there bit early. Last week town was flooded and this place had been partially damaged too. Despite all, owners made us feel very welcome, even had beverages in the fridge. They provided info about parkings and easiest way to get to the old town. Rooms are for non smokers, but there are tables with chairs on staircase rest areas for our poisonous habits. Will definitely be back in any future events.

The location was amazing, a great view over the Adriatic sea and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The accomodation was basic but it did us just fine, there was a nice balcony with a sea veiw and the room came with an air con, the beds were comfortable. Although the bathroom could be a bit bigger. The hospitality was trumedous, the owners were happy and offered us drinks. The breakfast was pretty basic but to be honest we didn't mind. Overall the experience was amazing and I hope we can return aswell

We stayed here when we attended Hideout (which we ended up not bothering with as it was so awful) luckily enough we had booked into Sidro. The pool is small but perfect to have a quick dip to cool down and is kept spotlessly clean. Our room was right at the top of the building and was fairly small - all we needed to do there however was sleep and get ready. The bathroom was a fair size, great powerful shower and the lightening much better for make up than the main room. It was super handy to have a restaurant - breakfast was included with our room and changed every day. The fried courgettes and omelettes in particular were great! We had a lovely meal one day of sea bass with grilled vegetables and croquettes. Really nice food and super reasonable prices. What really made this place special was the service. All staff were polite and funny and eager to help - we are actually sad to leave and will miss them. We felt so at home with the staff, it was like being welcomed into their family. We had taxis ordered for us with no bother - advised on the price we should be paying and were provided with extra glasses and ice so we could enjoy a couple of drinks on the balcony. We will definitely return to Sidro when we come back to Croatia for more exploring! Next time we will avoid festival season though!!

Good points: A beautiful, clean property, well furnished and well equipped inside. Air conditioning worked very well. Beautiful sea views from the front balconies. Situated right opposite a small pebbly beach with a beach bar and ATM, next door to an amazing restaurant (Konoba Anton), another restaurant selling pizzas and grilled meat and fish just across the road and a one minute walk to a bakery van and a small supermarket where we managed to get most of our requirements. Bad points: Caretaker on-site (not pre-advised), a whole list of verbal do’s and don’ts on arrival, CCTV being monitored by caretaker (male, 60+), he would suddenly ‘appear’ when we were around the pool to check the filter which made some of our younger females in the group feel uncomfortable as they were in their bathing suits. Caretaker also ‘had a problem’ with one of our group who is severely autistic (although this may just have been a communication issue, the caretaker spoke good English but his expressions may not have been specific enough). Caretaker, when asked, said he did not know which restaurants were good to try. Tight restrictions on noise (neighbours behind property complained the week before because of a noisy group previous to our stay). No noise around the pool and also no noise at the front of the property (so basically no noise outside!) particularly between 2pm and 5pm and all evening. The villa is advertised as suitable for up to 25 people – there will be noise from even the quietest group of 25, although we were told we could make as much noise as we liked inside the villa (end of July/beginning of August in Croatia – who wants to be inside?). No glasses to be taken to the pool area (fair enough, but no alternatives provided – we had to buy some cheap plastic cups). Not enough sun-loungers or outside furniture (no umbrellas or tables) for a whole group of 25. Caretaker told us we could not use any of the (smaller) pool toys we brought (such as balls and diving sticks) as they would get stuck in the filter. Cleaners entered the Villa before we were contracted to leave on our departure day, making it difficult for us to finish packing and check we had not left anything behind. When transfer vehicles arrived for our departure Caretaker insisted on checking all air-con remote controls and keys (not previously stipulated) – even though he knew we needed to leave. Communication sent from me to advise of flight delay on day of arrival, again on advised arrival time at the Villa and post-trip email asking for help to recover some valuables left in one of the rooms not acknowledged or responded to.
