Just ten miles west of Ocho Rios, Runaway Bay's stunning beaches see far fewer footprints than its neighbors. It's also removed from the cruise ship herds and pushy vendors. Perfect for those happy not to wander far from their resort, there are a few nearby attractions nonetheless. Bob Marley's childhood home and mausoleum is in nearby Nine Mile. Jamaican history is on view at Seville Great House and at Columbus Park Museum. To explore, rent a reliable vehicle and remember to drive on the left.

Our authentic Jamaican Country Bus, the “Zion Bus Line,” will take you on a musical pilgrimage from Ocho Rios to the birth and fi nal resting place of the King of Reggae, Bob Marley. Your driver navigates the narrow winding country roads to the mountain village of Nine Mile as the conductor regales you with tales of the life and times of young Bob and how he grew up in the hills of St. Ann. We played 9 rounds of golf from January 29th to February 15th 2019. The course was in good shape, it's golf in Jamaica with awesome caddies. To mention a few, Raymond, Seaford, and Glenn all know the game well, and this course like the back of their hands. The course pro Karl, and assistant Bunny were excellent as well, and make going to the course to play golf or just practice a joy every time. The 19th hole is always a joy with the elevated view, and nice surroundings with an excellent staff to greet you and give you a post round drink. Looking forward to coming back to see you all, thanks Dwade for your professionalism and to the now departed Adrian we wish him all the best. Sincerely, Larry and Barb.

The food was excellent, I had the friend snapper (escovite) and my partner the jerk chicken. It’s a chill vibe with the beach right there. Sonia, our server was fantastic, very friendly and very helpful. 5/5 would recommend if you’re in St. Ann’s parish.
