Putrajaya, officially the Federal Territory of Putrajaya, is a planned city and the federal administrative centre of Malaysia. The seat of government was shifted in 1999 from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya because of overcrowding and congestion in the former. Kuala Lumpur remains Malaysia's national capital and is the seat of the King, the Parliament, and all the foreign embassies, and the country's commercial and financial centre. Putrajaya was the idea of former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. It became Malaysia's third Federal Territory, after Kuala Lumpur and Labuan, in 2001.

I knew the place, so I wanted to play here again, when coming to KL again. The course is beautiful, very well kept fairways, bunkers and greens. Caddies are well trained. Some part of the game can be challenging, especially, when it gets hot and then playing from the back tees.

It is my 4th time here and I always tour around the area with bicycles. You can rent the bicycle with RM8/person/hour and the entrance here was free. The bicycle maintenance was good. The route is not that hard for beginners. The flowers is not really bloom. But, the view from the lakeside is beautiful. Spend sometime at the moroccan pavilion for some photos. But they currently have extensive maintenance. You cannot go in to the rooms to see the details.
