1st visit to the trails here and they certainly don't disappoint, did the black route straight off the bat and it broke me a little, did a bit of pushing up but the flies took a shine to me so stopping wasn't an option. The downhills are ace though and well worth the climbing, spooky wood is great fun and even the blue at the end is pretty mega with great flow, just a shame it's so far away.

Built on the hillside within the beautiful Glentress Forest (part of Tweed Valley Forest Park), our Go Ape Peeblesshire Tree Top Adventure makes good use of the valley for some jaw dropping exposure, and features our highest zip wire over the reservoirs in the valley. Take to the trees and speed down zip slides. They’re part of an exciting course of rope bridges, Tarzan swings and crossings; all set high above the forest floor. If you’re looking for things to do near Edinburgh, extend your day out with us. The small town of Peebles is just 2.5 miles away and has a great High Street with more independent shops than any other town in Scotland for great days out with the family.

In the current Covid time the club had done everything to make everyone safe. Me the wife and two 12 year old girls had a lovely round of golf and it was very friendly and relaxed. Fairways were suberb but some of the greens need a wee bit of attention but these are strange times with staff etc. I am sure.

A regular cycle ride from Peebles to Innerleithen return, stopping for coffee either at Nashy’s in Cardrona or No 1 in Innerleithen....a sublime couple of hours. Following much of the disused railway line the route is dotted with information boards detailing the history of the buildings and railway route. Cutting through the Cardrona golf course the route is predominantly flat with an occasional small incline, the steepest part being between the tunnel under the A72 and Peebles, a mere bump for the experienced cyclist! Whole route is on tarmac so no more than sensible shoes required.
Cycle training, guided cycle routes, transport to trail centres and a route planning/luggage transfer/cycling support service for anyone planning any cycling adventures in Scotland.
Offering bespoke bushcraft instruction to individuals, groups and schools across the Scottish Borders.
