Christy Sports in Dillon is located just off the I-70 freeway so you can get in and get to the mountain easily. Avoid the on-mountain rental crowd and prices by stopping into our location for competitive pricing and a knowledgeable staff to fit you with the right ski and snowboard equipment for your needs. We also carry a large selection of hardgoods and softgoods from the top brands in the industry.
I always reserve my ski rental equipment online as soon as I know my schedule (20% off special for early reservation usually going on). When I get to Dillon, I stop in after 4pm and pick up my equipment for the next day's adventure. Always quick and easy fitting with helpful staff. Bonus, after picking up equipment, the Dillon Dam Brewery is just across the street for quality beverage and food. My ski tradition for the last 15 years.

I went on this hike in mid-morning with my wife and 2 daughters (10 & 8). This ended up being one of our favorite hikes we did on our trip to Colorado due to the beautiful scenery all of the way up to the lake. The was a little complaining from the kids due to the length of the hike, but they made it to the lake and were quite happy. As others have said, the trip is over 4 miles one way. It is uphill the entire way up and the incline definitely increases for the last half mile. I would say just pace yourself which is easy to do. There are several meadows with wildflowers and a stream which beg for you to take a moment and relax, drink some water, eat a snack and embrace the fact that you are in such an amazing natural setting. Plenty of parking was available. Take a hat and sunscreen as there is a lot of time spent in the sun.

Amazing experience - definitely the best excursions this Texan has ever had! Friendly, knowledgeable staff that is ready to educate you and guide you on your adventure. Trailer is loaded with the equipment and they clearly explain everything and off you go. We were not dressed properly for the snow and they told us we should go across the street and get proper clothing. Being that this is a family owned business they care about your safety and your family as well. The trails are only 15 mins away and are a blast to ride. View is spectacular and the experience is unreal. We rented 2 Snow mobiles and the equipment worked great. This is a must when you are down in Colorado. My advice is to be a good listener and follow directions so that you don’t run into any trouble. Thank you Adventure Times Rentals!!
