As a resident of Menorca I've been a regular customer for several years. The range of bikes, parts and clothing is excellent as is the servicing and repairs. Tito is always extremely helpful. My daughter Eleanor visited me recently and we hired an off road bike to use during her stay. The bike was of a high standard, near new and came with helmet, lock, pump and repair kit including spare tube. The price was very competitive. As a keen cyclist of over 30 years I have used several shops in the UK before moving to Menorca. A Roda is the best I have known. Muchas Gracias.!

Clean beach with crystal clear water, amazing for both swimming and also snorkelling, good to get there early if you have a car, cause the carpark the full very quickly. 3 restaurants on the beach but some of the things are pricey so good idea is to go to a mahon supermarket such as mercadona, or lidl and stock up on water etc if you have a car. find both with northerly and southerly winds.. but if southerly the there might be a bit wavy which makes it amazing for body boarding and also jumping in the waves..otherwise other days the sea is calm as a pan cake. Bring some dry bread and feed the fishes if you go out a bit to the reef. there are also toilets block by the restaurants, and you can rent pedalo boats and also banana boats.

We arrived in Cala'n Porter at the end of April and popped into Sa Barrera hotel to escape from the karaoke on the square. From the terrace at the back there was a great view of the beach, which was spectacular, and empty of people, sunshades, etc. Roberto the manager let me paint the beach over the next few days and later bought the painting! We found the beach to have a shallow sea, ideal for kiddies, and good parking facilities. The Los Barrilo srestaurant serves plain snacks. rather pricey, but it was nice to have a coffee at bar Rustic Cala late afternoon when most tourists were leaving. This is a lovely big beach with a little play area, beach ball nets, pedalos, and plenty of room for games at the back. Lots of loungers under pretty straw sunshades for hire, or you can take your own brollies.
