This is a beautifully laid out tree climbing/ high wire adventure course. I visited with 4 children aged 8-13 and they had a blast. The courses radiate out from a central, massive oak tree and include 4 different difficulty levels (green, blue, red and black)and two course lengths (short and long) and include zip lines for every level or course. The instructors are helpful, friendly, and reassuring. The carabiner system used is very secure and once you get into it becomes second nature. Basically there is no way to totally unclip yourself from the wires once you are clipped on so very safe. The setting is gorgeous: an established leafy hillside in the dandenongs just adjacent Puffing Billy station, but with very little outside noise. It feels a bit like Lothlorien! The two hour slots are probably not enough to do all the courses, so if you really want to challenge yourself go for four. Also BOOK WELL IN ADVANCE- we tried to book in the school holidays and had only a 9am slot on Sunday available, and with a hour drive from Brunswick that was an early start for a Sunday!

They would help with anything we needed, including booking day trips, car hire, advice about living in the area and a 2 month long trip down the East Coast. A fantastic guided experience. Jeremy took us to a great spot in the You Yangs that provided a challenging and enjoyable experience for myself and my 13 year old son. Would highly recommend his service.

Reedy Creek offers a myriad of pleasures for those who enjoy the outdoor life; •Gold panning •Gemstone fossicking •Camping •Family Picnics & BBQ's •Bush walking •Exploring old mining areas •Native plants - eucalyptus forest and spring wild flowers •Native animals and birds - grey kangaroos, black swamp wallabies, koalas plus various gliders and possums
We had read about going to reedy creek so we packed a picnic and set out on an adventure. First stop was the dredge. Was interesting to see some of Australia’s history and a huge (largest in the Southern Hemisphere) dredging machine. Next we went to reedy creek - although there is no specific place to stop we checked out a few places and settled on a camping area. What an experience!! We were lucky enough to to meet a wonderful couple who came as a hobby to pan for gold and gems. They took our 4yo under their wing and showed us the ropes. We had a wonderful time enjoying the gorgeous weather and scenery playing in the creek and digging around.
