We hiked Bare Bluff Trail a couple weeks ago and it was beautiful! our group consisted of four adults and 5 children (9-16). It is a three mile loop and based on recommendations found on someone's blog, we hiked the loop clockwise. Clockwise was not as challenging. If you go clockwise, the hike up to the overlook is moderate. However if you continue going clockwise, you will hike down a steep area. There are also spots that are quite narrow so small children must be holding an adult's hand. The loop would not be good for people who aren't use to hiking or have difficulty walking, climbing, maneuvering around rocks, etc. A month ago we hiked in the Rockies so this hike did not feel challenging to our family - elevation is 1,100 feet above sea level so we were able to breathe easy! Make sure to bring water and if you have time, a lunch. We hiked clockwise and stopped at huge rocks overlooking the water to have lunch. It would be difficult to hike the loop if it was raining

The Greens of Mackinac is an 18 hole putting course located on the shores of Lake Huron on Mackinac Island. Next to Bistro on the Greens, this course offers a truly unique putting experience with 18 real bent grass greens that rivals conditions of any championship course! The fun and laid back atmosphere allows guests to visit the bar at Bistro on the Greens and carry their beverages with them during their round. At dusk, Glow Golf begins and the golf balls glow, the flags glow, the cups glow... and even the golfers glow! Glow Golf is a must for visitors of Mackinac Island.

Watch out for big predators tho! I live at the base of Millie Hill in Iron Mountain, MI. And 2 nights ago we had a Medium sized Black Bear stroll on down from the Hill for a little snack of cucumbers and Grapes from ny grape vine! Then last night a HUGE Grey Wolf walked dead center down EAST Fleshiem St. From the hill and staked Me and 3 other adults because he wanted a taste of my Red Bone Coon Hound! I screamed and yelled and stomped. Trying to scared him away, but he kept coming at me and Loki my dog! My husband had to chase him away after my 3rd and falled attempt to scare him! Dont get me wrong, this is a must see if your visiting Iron Mountain, but use caution please! There is a false sense of comfort one can get when they are in such a beautiful setting.

A shop owner gave us tip that we could walk along the shoreline to get to the falls. It was not too long but you have to be prepared to walk on sand and rocks. Once we were there we could climb some stairs to see the falls which were lovely. We then decided to walk some of the trails and are very glad we did because we made it to the sand dunes and saw some of the best views of our entire vacation.
