Angel was a great guide, but he was an even better person. In between Angel’s directions on how to catch Peacock Bass, I found myself engaged in great conversations with him throughout the morning. We caught five different species of fish, which I didn’t anticipate. Most importantly, he put me on some Peacock! I will be coming back to fish with Angel again!

Wow! A True adventure! We did the EXTREME cave tubing in late December 2020 with Noel and Warren. It was just our family of four with 2 late teenagers and 2 mid 40's adults. Note, when the reviews say to be in Good Shape for the Extreme tour, they really mean it. The Extreme adventure starts with a 2 or so mile hike Straight up hill, and back down hill to the river, most of the time in the sun. Then 3-4 hours on the Water going through many rapids, caves and cliff jumps. Noel and team took great care of us throughout the adventure, but it's not for the weak. Then you get to the caves, which are spectacular. Tubing over rapids in the dark is crazy. There is even a large log-jam in the cave that required us to climb up a rock wall, and then walk over floating logs for about 100 feet in the dark. It was Awesome... Then the second half of the tour is more relaxed. I believe the second half is the part of the "standard" tour. Either way, if you are truly athletic, not afraid of bats and the Dark, and wanting true adventure, do the Extreme cave tubing. The standard adventure part of the trip is still great, and gorgeous going through the waterfalls and the caves over milder river rapids. Please note that Noel runs a very low-impact to the environment tour company! You are on tiny trails, with a small group of people. There's no stairs, no accommodations for people who give up... this is REAL Puerto Rico, seeing the nature and beauty of this place!

This place is naturally beautiful. A monumental stone with important petroglyphs allows you to get in touch with the Taino culture and its enviroment. A popular spot for bathing in the river and cooling off.
Tucked away behind a restaurant called Hijos del Cañaveral in Jayuya where i did not get a chance to eat at is a wooden well built pathway that leads down to a river with a boulder carved with indigenous petroglyphs set between breathtaking mountains. Its a place where the only thing you hear is mother nature at its best. Not only being a great picture spot its a place to connect with the inner beauty that Puerto Rico has to offer. If you get to Jayuya please do me a favor and get to this place. It is surely worth it. I will definitely go back for the food the next time i am there. If you go before me please let me know.

Beautiful place. The blue color of the ocean is spectacular. However, be very careful. It is too easy to stumble with the rocks in this area; and there is nothing to keep visitors from falling down into the rocks and rough ocean. Stay away at least 10 feet. A hidden treasure in Isabela.
