Like most of Rottnest Island on a hot sunny summer's day the scenery was excellent with blue green water, white sand and rocky limestone cliffs and rocks.

Perth Wake Park is the only cable wakeboard park in Western Australia. It is located 30 minutes south of Perth city at the Mundijong Rd, Kwinana Freeway exit. The park offers a range of features including a full size main cable, a beginner specific cable, a step up pool for advanced riders, a café, pro shop and hire shop. Riders of any level can come and enjoy the park. We have lessons and introduction sessions on our specific beginner system and a main lake filled with obstacles for the advanced riders to enjoy. We offer lots of different tickets to suit you; from full season passes to maximise your time on the water to 1 and 2 hour sessions. Bring your own gear or just bring your boardshorts or bikini, all the gear can be hired at the park and basic equipment is included in your ticket price. Please see our prices page for further details. With a large veranda overlooking the main lake and a beach to relax on, Perth Wake Park is a great place to hang out and watch your friends.
Perth wake park was absolutely fantastic in every way but unless you or your kids are a slow learner. We were very lucky and had a group beginners lesson to ourselves, miraculously I picked it up first time but my usually gifted daughter struggled so basically spent most of the hour learning and almost got up with the help of the amazing instructors. My issue is that the normal group lesson size is 8 and with that amount of begginers it's would take multiple lessons, time and money for my daughter to actually get a little bit proficient. She might only get 5 or 6 practice's. Basically the group size is too big unless your a natural. The main lake was good fun, we went Xmas Eve which is apparently not so busy but is was still busy... I'd hate to go when it's packed but that said it's a great place to hang out all day so you could watch the ques and pick you times to ride maybe. The staff were all absolutely fantastic, best service in years!! I'm just apprehensive about coming again with my daughter due to the large group lessons.. it's a long way for us to come and can't afford heaps of lessons.

In addition to Quokka selfie, Rottnest Island has lots activity to have fun! I’d like to recommend this boat tour that you can see lots of marine life. Friendly and Experienced staff will guide you on a jet boat and you can see wildlife such as dolphins and sea lions up close. The Jet boat moves at high speed with music and beautiful views (blue sky and clear water). It will be unforgettable memories for your trip!

Little Armstrong Bay is one of the most attractive and picturesque rocky coves on the Island. It is an ideal spot for families with young children and for snorkelers as it is located on one five sanctuary zones in the Marine Reserve on Rottnest. Protected from the Southerly and Easterly winds it is particularly sheltered in the afternoons. You will love it!
Snorkeling/skindiving is my thing so I search out all the best spots. So far I've only been to 3 spots on the island but this would be in my top 2. It's shallow for beginners then goes out to deep drops for the more experienced. There are warm and cold spots in the water, one minute it's nice then suddenly you go around a corner and brrrr. An amazing array of fish, many which I'd never photographed before and didn't photograph because they made a quick get away! Its a very quiet spot which is a 300m walk from the bus stop.
