I come here at least 5 times every winter with my Japanese friend. So I know quite well of it. Gotta some overviews: First, this resort is really spacy and has various facilities compared to the typical onsen in Japan. E. g. Free massage machines, reading corner, relaxing bench concern with individual TV equipped, stone sauna, yoga class, restaurant (Japanese and French), etc. Second, various natural hot-spring pool's types: carbonate, electric, open-air, traditional,... Third, the price is reasonable. Night-set (after 7pm): 1,100 yen. Stone sauna: 400 yen. Fourth, its opening hour: 10AM-1AM. I always stay up late until 1 AM since my Japanese friend lives quite close there, so I often come to sleep at his home after 1. But if you couldn't find a hotel, you'd better leave at 22:30 by free bus from the resort to main JR train station (The translated schedule is one of my photos). But around there, many hotels are also not quite expensive (just heard from my friend), and especially there are also some 'love' hotels around there. Fifth, the lakeside view is brilliantly nice, quiet and fresh air. Great place to read and relax. TIPS: - After 7 PM the price is down about 300 yen for night-set. - Recommended process: Dinner -> Steamed sauna -> Hot-spring pools -> Stone sauna -> Hot-spring pools again (after stone sauna you will be sweating) -> Massage machines -> Reading/watching at the benches -> Leave for free bus at 22:30/Stay at near hotel until 1AM.
