We arrived a couple of weeks after Typhoon Faxai hit the Bōsō Peninsula. Some of trails were closed due to debris. Those areas that remained accessible provided inspirational views and serenity for self-reflection and thought. You take a ropeway tram to the top of the mountain. You are rewarded with a view of the Peninsula as you gain altitude. When you arrive, you can take in the view from the observation deck. Take an opportunity to take a breath taking view from the Jigoku Nozoki. Enjoy viewing the numerous Buddha sculptures along the trails.

Great day out with some interesting history. On the day I visited part of the areas were closed so I only get to see the big Buddha statute, the Goddess of Mercy statute and some smaller shrines between the rocks along the trail. Impressive site though.

Both United and Ana lounges are massive. Tons of room so you don't feel overcrowded. Both have Japanese beer on Japanese draft machines Long with sake. Ana Lounge has a sake station where you can try different bottles. Ana Lounge also has massage chairs and a smoking section. United has a fabulous shower facility located in the back of the lounge.
