We were planning to for a dinner at one of the local Michelin star restaurants, but couldn't get a table - and thus decided to try Controcorrente. We were NOT disappointed. It is not a Michelin Star restaurant, but the food was very good, the wine list reasonably comprehensive, the service flne and the price very reasonable compared to quality, atmosphere and service....all though they could benefit from having an English language menu.Try it!

This small restaurant is very nice with delicious sea food. We were outside in the middle of the street. I ordered fresh long pasta with sea food (caviatielli allo scoglio) and "seppie alla piastra", for my husband spaghetti with clams and a fresh branzino cooked in salt. Everything was delicious and the owner was very friendly. Good white local wine perfect with the sea food. The restaurant opens at 7.30 for dinner, I suggest to come early to stay outside (even if it's pleasant inside, a tipical italian "trattoria"). Service quick and price right for the good food. For me it's a four stars and an half (I'd give five stars for a location by the sea). We will come again.

The bartenders are so fun and friendly, a weekly dance and a live band makes for lots of fun and they make great mojitos! A bit pricey, but a good time.

The site on which the structure stands dominates the entire inlet of Noli, including the historical center of the old marine republic, and looks out upon the open sea, towards the eastern ligurian coast and the Apuane Alps. The Bishopâs Residential Palace
I hate giving bad reviews however our two experiences were utterly different.Last time we felt we had landed in heaven with the beautiful dining room and attentive service. The waiter was passionate about what he was serving and the sommelier gave us an excellent selection of wine with our delicious and varied tasting menu. And to top it off, the pricing was excellent. This time we sat outside on the balcony with beautiful views of the town and the bay. The waitresses were attentive but lacked enthusiasm. The sommelier was quite frankly lazy, and used the same wine for three of our courses. The pungent fishiness of each course overpowered the other flavours although the presentation was beautifully artistic and interesting. And our meal had doubled in price from 3 years previously. Sadly, I donât think we will be returning.

Simple restaurant with very good fresh pasta. It's also a shop where you can buy pasta.Friendly service (beware of the son who help in service but a little bit dreamer ;-))no draft beer, and the wine, served in plastic glass, is the weakest part of U pasta.Anyway I recommend strongly this quick, simple and very good restaurant.Ratio quality vs price is very high: 2 paste + 2 glasses wine + 2 expressi + water = 20â¬

We were group of 8 and even though we did not understand everything on the menu, we all got really good dishes. We e.g. had fresh fish, really good meat, tuna and different kind of pasta dishes. The service was excellent and they all tried their best to explain even though they barely spoke English.Paid only 130 euros for food and drinks.

A Sigogna is a result of the transformation of a butcher's family in a fish restaurant. Born in 1974 with the passion of David and his wife Bruna for the traditions and products of their land, passion then passed down to the childrens, Marino and Walter,
Simple and well prepared food.Excellent zuppa di pesche and fish raviolli. Friendly service and good value for money.

Beautiful location directly on the beach !!! In the Gulf of Spotorno overlooking the island of Bergeggi. A la carte menu enriched by the catch of the day and the inspiration of our chef with always new proposals. Temple of Italian raw fish. We are waiting
We chose this restaurant based on the previous reviews. Booking was easy and fast on the phone and the hostess was very friendly and professional. The food was very tasty, the wine was very good and the atmosphere was very romantic with excellent sea views. Price is appropriate for the standard. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant surprise in this small town where we didn't want to be and came in after being very disappointed by a local hotel. The food here uses fabulous fresh ingredients, accomodated in creative and tasty recipes. Restaurant has a contemporary yet classy design, with good music at perfect level. Very sweet waitress who can speak English, highly improbable in such a small town! Go try it out with eyes closed

We found Ristorante Primo on TripAdvisor. And even though the reviews on TripAdvisor were great, nothing compares to having your dinner here. The service is attentive and kind, the food is sublime, and the wine is unbelievable. 4,5 on TripAdvisor isn't enough, this place is a solid 5. My wife, her parents and I give Ristorante Primo our highest recommendations. Ciao âï¸
