We would like to thank all our guests that visit and reviewed us in our first 8 years of activity, Deborah & Joost. Our Winebar-Enoteca is specialized in platters prepared at the moment with local sliced cuts and cheeses.we don't not serve pasta, or mainco
we loved the helpful service and generous nibbles, had the wine samples, very good. did not like....... the stools, no chairs, canât spend a meal time on a stool.also, nice location away from the traffic, quiet rooftop terrace.

Lovely little restaurant in old building. Have the Trout entree it was sensational. As was the apple tart. The risotto was not so exciting. A friendly authentic restaurant when you want to get away from the crazy crowds and tourist energy. Not easy to find but worth it.

You can tell that you are close to Swizerland since there almost no places to eat. We tried at least five restaurants which were all closed. At last, we found this one and had a nice plattet of salami and prosciutto.

We were taken to this restaurant by an Italian friend who lives in the area. It's his favourite place to eat and we were very impressed with the whole experience. The food was quite adventurous for Italian country cooking. They obviously use quality local ingredients to create some exciting dishes. The restaurant itself is very attractive, like a mountain restaurant but more sophisticate with nice glass wear, tablecloths, lighting etc. A return visit will definitely be on the cards.

Had a great meal at the restaurant, a lot of choice containing the local fish. Limited other options.

Delicious food, with a beautiful outdoor area. Wonderful and gracious staff who even gave us a tour of the wine cellar and a history lesson on what is possibly the oldest restaurant in Europe. The staff and I thank you for your words. Old and young in the same time: we reopened on June 20th. We are proud to have had you as customers

Made enquires last year to hold my husbandâs birthday here with 19 guests and Giulia could not be more helpful. She forwarded menus to chose from and kept me posted when the restaurant closed for refurbishment. We arrived by boat to be amazed by this beautiful restaurant set on the water. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Giulia to the time we left, we were made to feel special . The food was outstanding ,as was the service and the view. I cannot thank you all enough for such a wonderful night. We will be talking about it for a long time to come . Again another huge thank you to Giulia for your help with everything.

Had an absolutely lovely dinner at Il Sorriso. Service and staff were excellent and very welcoming. Many local Lombard dishes on the menu. Comfortable and lovely dining room (we ate upstairs). The warm seafood salad was excellent as were the pasta parcels filled with veal. My wife loved the local fish served grilled with almonds. Great wines and very affordable. Excellent value.

They treat tourists like *h*t, because they know they don't come back anyway. We were first in the queue and two groups of Italian speakers came and were given table. We asked the only nice (young girl) worker why this happened, and forwarded the question. The reply was that those people had reservation. That was an obvious lie since the restaurant was full and that table just got free. After getting the table it took forever to be served. Finally we ordered the food, that felt promising. 10-15 minutes later the waitress came to tell that they ran out of the dishes we ordered. And it turned out pretty much all the dished they had for main dishes. So we had to order whatever random they had left.. This was half way of the lunch time...Food wasn't that good. Just normal. One of the first meals of the whole trip I would say.As a summary, AVOID.

Along the stillness of the river,in the old Argegno. The restaurant offers lake specialities, recipes from Piemonte and international cuisine.
The restaurant looks ok from outside but opens up nicely with pleasant decor and atmosphere inside. There wasn't a huge food choice, but enough for everyone. There were four of us two had the veal, and two had the duck. All four of us enjoyed our meals. We also had two bottles of water, two glasses of proseco, and two red wine between us. The total cost came to 108 euros which included a 3 euro service charge each.
