The Peloponnese (/ˈpɛləpəˌniːz/) or Peloponnesus (/ˌpɛləpəˈniːsəs/; Greek: Πελοπόννησος, Pelopónnēsos) is a peninsula and geographic region in southern Greece. It is separated from the central part of the country by the Isthmus and Gulf of Corinth. During the late Middle Ages and the Ottoman era, the peninsula was known as the Morea (Greek: Μωρέας), a name still in colloquial use in its demotic form (Μωριάς).

This is a fabulous bar for beer lovers, cocktail lovers, jazz lovers, even good Greek wine ... and anyone who enjoys meticulous service. The bar owner’s knowledge of all the drinks available is encyclopaedic, watching him prepare a cocktail is theatre! We loved every aspect of 1866.

Kalo Livadi (Good Meadows) was created in 2017 as an alternative option, for both Tourists & Greeks, that visit Leonidio and Tyros. We play foreign music in low decibel, make cocktails, sandwiches and fruit juices, offer card games, backgammon and sea mattresses for children and playfull adults! A little farther away from our beach bar, on the same beach, there’s a small secluded bay, fit for Nudism. On your way to the bay, you can get a cold coffee or a couple of frozen beers from us! :-) Fun Fact - Origin of the name: Meadows/ Livadi is the name of the nearby village. We chose the prefix “Kalo” to make fun of the “Kalo Livadi” beach in Mykonos, a very high class and extravagant destination ;-P

Simply beautiful place. Views are incredible, water is warm and peaceful. Beds very comfortable. Restaurant food is excellent and so is the food. One of the best beach bars we ever visited.
