With weekly live music such as Open Mic and Karaoke nights Julia's Lounge is definitely the place to stop while visiting Truro. Friendly bartenders and great drink specials daily. In the summer time you can even enjoy a drink in the sun on our deck outside.

Really enjoyed our stop here on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The server was warm and helpful, and gave us good commentary on the two flights we purchased. Then we bought a bunch more to take home. There is a TON of local cider in the area, and we had product from at least 4 different local cideries during our visit--but this was the best. I'm happiest with classic cider flavours, but the special haskap cider was good, and my husband really liked the muscat-infused one. We'll definitely be back, and will look for this cider in our local NSLC.

Love love love Boysenberry! The building is beautiful, and the workers always friendly and greet you with a warm welcome. They have the best coffee and lemonade in town. Downstairs is dedicated to the cafe, with lots of different events to attend in the evenings, it also doubles as a great place to hit the books. The boutique upstairs has the cutest clothing for women of varying ages as well as a great variety of sizes. If you have not already you must visit Boysenberry.

We love the atmosphere here. Cider and craft beer from their sister company Saltbox Brewing as well as some guest taps. Check the Facebook page or website for the entertainment schedule. Lots of great music. They don’t serve food but there are a number of places nearby you can take out and bring in. Some menus on site. A few of them will also deliver there. Warmer weather will see the courtyard and sidewalk patio in full swing. There is an upstairs that can be reserved for meetings and private parties.
