A fantastic traditional pub with clean & comfortable bedrooms. A large selection of drinks, great prices & dog friendly (dogs are allowed into the bar but are not able to stay overnight). The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. One of the cheapest places to stay locally. The ambiance of the pub is perfect, whether you are calling in for a quiet drink or meeting up with friends. The building is full of character with a real coal fire, grandfather clock, wooden floors, old paintings & vinyl player. Many board games available & a darts board. The terrace/smoking area is heated and sheltered over one half which is suited to all seasons. Other features of the pub include free parking (at the rear of the pub) & free Wi-Fi. The pub regularly holds events such as charity quiz nights, live entertainment and charity days. The property is a fantastic geographically, within walking distance to The New Vic Theatre & Newcastle-under-Lyme town centre. It is also situated to the nearby hospitals, Stoke City FC, Port Vale FC, Trentham Gardens, The Victoria Hall, Keele University, Staffordshire University, The Regent Theatre, The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, Middleport Pottery, within 19 miles of Alton Towers Theme Park & 30 miles of Manchester Airport. The only full Time, dedicated comedy club in Staffordshire. Top circuit comedians, TV names and up and coming talent live on stage every Friday and Saturday night. Full bar and food available as well as private parties and gift vouchers.
....An amazing night at ROFL! Me and the hubby attended the World One Liner Championships last night and had a brilliant night of top notch comedy and laughter. A variety of comedians all with their own personality and style of delivery. We, the audience, got to vote on each one in order to determine the winner who won the World One Liner Championship Belt. It was full on laughter from start to finish and I have to mention Cokey, the resident MC who was soooo funny too!

One of the best little pubs in Newcastle. The first micro pub in the town and still the very best. When it first opened it was a bit of a novelty but soon acquired its own locals. Now it is just a great little pub with superb staff and a constantly changing and well thought out cellar. Brilliant! I love it. So do many others.

My first visit and I was not disappointed. My wife and I went on a Monday, to try the curry. It was excellent! Very tasty and excellent value. The beer was excellent as well. With 4 real ales, including Sarah Hughes Ruby Mild, I was in heaven. Would recommend the Cask Bar very highly and I will certainly be returning very soon.

An exciting gin and craft beer bar, coffee house and bottle retailer in Newcastle town centre. The place to be on a Friday and Saturday night!
I've lived in the area only a year but this place is a real diamond in the rough! Staff are all wonderful, very friendly and helpful, and their signature gin-cocktail is genuinely my favourite! They have a lovely mini beer garden which looks really cosy and atmospheric when the fairy lights come on. Lovely bar!

Welcome to Reflex - a great night out for those who want to bop all the way back to when Jon Bon Jovi first rocked our world and the A-Team ruled Saturday-night telly. Party people - come to drink our signature partini cocktails, have a dance and sing the night away, led by DJs pumping out nothing but the best tunes from the 70s and 80s, plus a few fun cheesy tracks and classic anthems.
Me and a few mates have just had the best night out in newcastle under lyme, we spent the night laughing and drinking in reflex with the best music and best staff we have ever met, it was awesome I would highly recommend spending a night out here the atmosphere was buzzing the music was amazing and they staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
