Does time ever pass in the Florida Keys? Everyone and everything in Key West seems to go at its own pace, right down to the ice melting slooooowly in your margarita glass. Of course, it’s not all limes and leisure – Key West is known as the “Winter White House” because of its appeal to visiting U.S. presidents, and the island has been home to literary greats like Ernest Hemingway and Tennessee Williams. The diving here is phenomenal, as is the kid-friendly Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center.

Greene Street Cigar & Cafe, is a Craft beer/Wine Bar located on the corner of Greene St & Simonton St in Key West, FL. We also have the only walk-in humidor in Key West. We carry the largest selection of Premium cigars, Craft beer on Draft, a great variety of Red & White Wine, Champagne and Port Wine.
What an absolute find! Some friends and I were staying nearby on vacation and stopped in to pick up some cigars. Little did we know that we found our favorite spot in Key West! Not only was the staff helpful in making cigar suggestions, but Marisa and Sandra spent a lot of time to teach us how to play dominoes. Ended up coming back each day while we were down there to play dominoes and smoke some cigars. Highly recommend this spot!

Stopped at this excellent little bar/ liquor store after a day of sightseeing. Some of our group had their jalapeño infused margaritas (just right) and the rest had their hand shaken Pina Coladas....mmmmm good. Walking distance to the Southernmost Point and to Duval St. Friendly staff, good service, & excellent drinks.

Gay bar, clothing optional gay leather bar, upstairs cabaret bar. Nightly drag shows featuring the World Famous 801 Girls at 9 and 11 PM. Karaoke every Sunday afternoon starting at 4 PM. Located at 801 Duval Street in Key West, Florida.
The drag show is amazing! The performers are fun and engaging and Raquel is fiery as hell with her jokes and banter. I would *absolutely* go back to see them because they put on a good show. The audience, on the other hand, could benefit on a primer of what drag is, where it came from, and the etiquette of being an audience member at a drag show. I fear there are a lot of straight people coming in simply to gawk, who don’t get that the gay bar is *our* sacred space, a place we carved out where we could be safe from their leering and jeering. I get their want to be there, but they’re coming in like it’s theirs and for them rather than as guests baring witness to our miracles. Raquel did something awesome, pausing to answer questions from the audience, but I have a better idea. Don’t ask what they want to know. Instead, *tell* them what they *should* know. Doesn’t have to be political, and can come from a place of warmth and sincerity. Let them know we’re a people, that drag is our triumph over their world, a world that had no space for us. Also, Edumacate summa these fools on the difference between a trans woman and a drag queen. They come to our church, they’d better be ready for our sermons. ❤️ Kick some ass.
