Ketchikan, one of Alaska's most Southeastern cities, is the first stop for many cruises on their way to more Northern climes. A stay in Ketchikan itself can be rewarding, however, as the city is the gateway to Misty Fjords National Monument, an area so beautiful, it is known as "The Yosemite of the North." With steep valleys formed by glaciers and lava flows left by volcanic activity, Misty Fjords offers gorgeous views of natural formations, all reflected in the calm waters of Pacific inlets.

After traveling the world as Adventure Travel Consultants, we have settled into Ketchikan five years ago for the summer months to fish and enjoy the spoils of Alaska's First City. After giving Terry's Tour to countless friends and family who have come to visit, Terry decided to share his passions with others that come to town for just a few hours or days. Join us for some history & some drinks!

The oldest bar in Ketchikan! Est. in 1937. We are a waterfront bar with a covered deck for an outdoor experience. We have 19 draft beers on tap and the best bloody Mary's in Alaska! We are locally owned and operated. Come down and meet Paula who has owned the bar for the last 22 years. She's a hoot!
We spent a couple of hours in the Arctic Bar before boarding the cruise liner. There were 6 of us and we sat outside on one of the tall tables and enjoyed quite a few pitchers of local beer. There was a 4 piece girl band on inside which added to our enjoyment. The bar is full of character and it was a pleasure and a great experience to visit this unique bar. Well worth a visit before getting back to the ship
