I think most blokes would want the best pint in town, whereas most girls would want the cleanest/nicest loos. The Farrier has both. As well as that it is the most friendly pub I have ever been in (and I've been in quite a few). Donna and Dale are lovely people, as are all of the staff, and their "regulars" are great, too. They will all speak and chat with you even if you have never been in there before. I often spend several hours here, there is a lovely garden, so you can take the kids, too.

We love popping in to Le Pinardier for glass or bottle of wine or bubbles. Also love the snacks that they serve, the saucisson is amazing. Marina is absolutely charming as is keen on sharing her wine knowledge and is a consummate host. Can’t wait for lockdown to be over to we can visit again. Definitely worth the visit.

We went and had the bottomless brunch and loved our experience there from start to finish. Staff was all lovely mannered well presented and very helpful. The food was amazing with lots of choice and the bottomless brunch and drinks menu was also a very good range of different drinks and food to cater for all. The venue is very clean tidy and welcoming. All staff wore masks at all times and customers wore masks when needed and not sat at tables and kept to all covid 19 guildlines. hand sanitizer is provided as you walk in and by the toilets. I would definatly recommend eating/drinking here. I will definatly be returning. Thank you to all who made our visit so lovely x

We are Deal's Micropub. Started in December 2011 we are now firmly part of the Deal community. We specialise in real ales from microbreweries across the UK and have a constantly changing menu. Beers are kept in a temperature controlled room, served directly from the cask and brought to you. We also sell: real ciders; a selection of wines and soft drinks; a limited range of snacks including Kentish cheese; Kent crisps and pork pies from a local, award winning butcher. We do not sell lager or spirits nor do we have piped music or television. Mobile phones can be used to access the internet but a ringing phone results in a fine (money going to the Pilgrims Hospice). We offer a friendly and unique venue in Deal and hope to see you soon.
We arrived before opening time & sat outside. As the bar opened other people went in before us however the lady that served us knew we had been waiting so came to serve us 1st. She was very friendly & knowledgeable. The beers were excellent. The tables were socially distanced & there was hand sanitizer on the tables. There was seating outside too. It was so good we went in twice. Definitely worth a visit. They are only open certain days which is understandable

A proper local pub but everyone welcome. Very friendly staff & helpful. Socially distanced tables & sanitizer near the bar. Rear garden but down a lot of steps. Beer was local plus other beers. Beer was excellent & well kept.

Having moved to the area recently decided to have a evening to see what deal had to offer. Found Bloody Marys and what a find. Made so welcome by the owner and the lovely Scottish Lady. Great atmosphere and felt very relaxed and chilled. Couldn’t fault the place and this will definitely become our new local.

My husband had read about this place before we got to Deal and we were very pleased to find that it was at the end of the road from our rental home! We wanted to pop in for a pre dinner beer so I gave them a call to check that our two children (aged 10 and 12) would be welcome, and see if we could also take the dog - they were happy to have all three! The lady on the phone asked what time we would be coming and when I replied that we were literally steps away she said they only had one table left and she would save it for me - which she did! On arrival they were very friendly and showed us to our reserved table! The beer menu was extensive so we asked them to recommend some - again the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We tried 4 beers and liked them all! We also ordered a cheeky portion of nacho’s and they were LUSH!! They were gone in minutes!!! The staff really were so lovely which means the place has a great atmosphere, and it has a very comfortable feel about it. We will be visiting a couple more times before we leave Deal!!!
