Connecting people, cultures, and whiskies from a different perspective. Our dream is to ignite a desire and passion for all things whisky within each one of you. We aim to do this by providing whisky tastings and guided whisky tours throughout the beautiful cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. ‘Once Upon a Whisky’ tours are based on education, culture, and responsible drinking and our aim is to make you as passionate about whisky as we are. Once Upon a Whisky puts a new spin on the traditional concept of whisky tours in Scotland. We don’t focus on the production process or how whisky is made. Here we show you how to enjoy whisky while learning curious facts and quirky stories about the Scottish national drink. From cocktails and food to music and films, whisky connects people through a variety of passions and cultures.

Stopped by this pub on a day out, post lockdown most places need to be booked and all along this part of Argyle Street, which is full of pubs, had all been booked. Managed to get in here, with the social distancing restrictions etc it wasn't too busy, plastic shields up between tables. Hand sanitizer available, one in one out toilet system, table service. Staff friendly and polite. Would definitely go back.

I have known this pub for many years. A friendly welcome is assured from staff and regulars. Best known for it's well kept real ale it is currently the Glasgow CAMRA Pub of the year. There are of course drinks to suit all tastes. The walls are adorned with photos and other memorabilia relating to the nearby King's Theatre.

Found it accidentally, a nice local lady working close to them told me about them as i was kinda lost in the area :) Fab espresso, tasty coocked food. Safety measures on place. Friendly staff, reasonable price s. I took a look at some boards on the walls, looks like a place supporting charity causes, had a live music before the lockdown. Definitely will recommend it to my customers (i work in a hotel in Merchant city) and for sure be back again myself.
