I'd checked out a few places to go for a drink local to our hotel in Bruges. This seemed a positive place judging by the reviews. I was not disappointed. My husband loved the array of different beers and I loved the cellar/underground like atmosphere. Different clientele from oldies to youngsters. A great hour was spent here one evening. Would recommend!

Bruges is one large open-air museum. Discover this medieval city which revolves around 25 tales of beers and brewing with a fascinating beer tour. In approximately three hours, you will travel through the ages from 1000 A.D. to the actual Bruges today. 5 beer tastings of different beers and an official BeerWalk glass are included in the price. Bruges is well known for its secret hideways and amazing sites, but its world class beers which are steeped in history and tradition, are probably the best kept secret in town. Start your beer walk at the Bruges Beer Museum and let the wonderful history of this charming town surprise you during this tour and beer tasting with guide. The beer tastings include incredible beers which are all connected to the periods and places you’ll discover. Anyone who takes part can decide, at any time during the BeerWalk tour, to have one or more beer tastings replaced by a soda of your choice. This way anyone can enjoy the beer stories and historic town visit.

If you are looking for a nice bar during the week when everything is closed, you need to go to La Casita. The barmaid is super nice and makes very good cocktails. The bar is not so big but that empowers the cozy atmosphere. After a drink or 2 you forget that you are in rainy Belgium and imagine yourself with your feet in the sand. Cheers

What a lovely night! The barman was very nice, welcoming us amd helping us traslate the menu suggesting the best taste based on our needs. The choice of wine (glass or bottle) is huge. I strongly suggest to take a plate of mix cheeses and hams as a combo with the wine. You will not regret it. I would like to come back during winter, with snow outside... Lovely!

The Brugse Gin Club Gin Bar & Store (BGC - Bruges Gin Club) offers the largest selection of gins in Bruges and the wide surroundings. Over 480 different gins are served in a small bar hidden in the heart of the historic centre between the Fish Market and the Botanic Gardens. The bar is only open during weekends from Friday to Sunday from 6pm and during school holidays. Owner-ginologist Edward welcomes you in the cozyiness of his kitchen and provides you with a personalized table service. If you get in, that is, because the door is closed and knocking is obligatory. The bar can accomodate only 20-odd patrons and strictly operates on a first come, first seated principe. Bookings are not accepted. Locals as well as visitors from all over the world come to the bar to escape the rush of touristic Bruges and relax in the laid back atmosphere garnished with classic and contemporary jazz.
Six of us visited this little bijou bar and had a whale of a time!! Edward was informative and attentive - the Gins were marvellous and Edwards help in mixing and matching was fab! We were a little shocked at the price, but actually decided it was well worth it if you think what a mediocre gin costs in a pub at home! Will definitely send friends your way Edward!!

Been coming here years and it never disappoints. Only problem is in the high season so difficult to get a table. Much easier in February. Fantastic ambiance, great service and fantastic beers especially the Garre house beer. I dream of coming here when I’m at work in the UK on a dull wet day. Have some cheese cubes and saucisson with Ghent strong mustard with your beer. Delightful.

This is the bar to relax in during and at the end of busy days in bustling Bruges. Obviously a favourite with the locals (always a good sign) the staff are attentive and friendly the ambience is excellent and liquid refreshment in abundance. The location (The fish market) is close to all the action without being part of it.

In this 15th century mayor's house you can find, within the fullness of old and new architecture, our range of Belgian products. A variety of beer, chocolates, biscuits, t-shirts, etc. After visiting our permanent exposition "All Belgian Beers" in the Beerwall, you can enjoy at our terrace, one of the most beautiful canal views of Bruges with one of our Belgian drinks in your hand. 2Be-Shop open from 10.00h till 19.00h 2Be-Bar open from 10.00 till 19.30hour(last call) Wednesday closed.
I've been many times to Bruges and never fail to visit the Beer Wall. Great selection of beers, love the multi-lingual beer menus hanging from the ceiling. The Outside terrace is great when the weather is kind. Wave to the tourist boats going by and feel rather smug relaxing with beer in hand. Love it !
