Vizag is a lovely city and always has been my favourite, this was my third trip to vizag and i visited this offbeat beach away from the city, the beach is isolated and offers a great view of the dolphin nose. You might have to change 2 buses from the main bus stand to reach there

This is such a lovely pitspot to take some great pics and get some fabulous views of the sprawling coastlines of Vizag. if you are every driving down from Rishikonta, stop and drop by and you will regret it. You have an Arakku Valley Coffee counter across the road that sells some great freshly brewed coffee made from the Arakku valley produce. I had 3 coffees while waiting for friends and also brought home some packs. Great Views and Bonus - Great coffee ! :) It is a very well maintained park and was extremely clean considering the huge footfall it attracts.

Far away from any sources of noise, its a beautiful location. Supported by ITDA, this property is beautiful located at the foothills of hillocks, surrounded by fields and plantations. There is a stream that runs adjacent. There are 8 hutments and all are of the same size with a queen sized bed. Good enough for a family of 3. You can request an extra mattress of you want. We went with a senior citizen and we comfortably managed. The food is prepared locally with ration brought from Araku. Road connectivity is good. One has to look out for the cut with a board on the right after Araku. Ask the locals for directions to Kollaput. The room itself is very basic with hot water and clean sheets. Language might be a barrier if you dont spk Telugu. But the people are good. No mobile network except BSNL.

Kambalakonda reserve forest lies right in between the city with lush green gorges. Best place for picnics and average crowd get togethers. Good restaurant is available inside
