The Park overall is extremely well kept as are the toilets. A great place for walkers, dog walkers and children. A great play area for children of all ages with all the facilities well kept. The volunteers and council staff do a great job in keeping all areas clean, well maintained and obstacle free. One of my favourite places for a relaxing walk no matter which season. There is a gem of a cafe serving reasonably priced sandwiches, cakes, drinks etc.

A lovely woods with a variety of paths that can be taken to vary the length of your walk depending on how you're feeling or the weather - in my experience anything from half an hour to 90 minutes. It's all dog friendly and there's plenty of woodland for them to explore, as well as open spaces for chucking a ball etc Parking is ample, either on road near the treatment plant (that's well hidden on the very edge of the walk), or in the well maintained car park. Would recommend.

We visited the gardens in June 2019 to see the roses and were hoping to return this year but sadly covid19 spoilt that, so will have to try again next year in 2021! The gardens were lovely to wander around for a couple of hours in the sunshine with family. There is a £6 entrance fee per adult, but we enjoyed our birthday outing treat. The walled garden is quite small but we managed to spend a couple of hours here with family, having a leisurely stroll. There are many varieties of flowers to see and also fruit trees and vegetables. The roses are a highlight! There are also small fountains and water features, with lots of seating throughout so that you can sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Parking is free but there is a £6p/p cost to enter the gardens.

Well set out with a variety of activities for crawlers or toddlers.Lots of tables/chairs for parents & grand parents. Lovely eatery with very reasonably priced food & drinks. Safe, secure. We had a party there, brilliant value and the food was lovely. One of our regular haunts on rainy afternoons. HIghly recommended.
