Shiraz (/ʃiːˈrɑːz/ ( listen); (Persian: شیراز), Šīrāz, Persian pronunciation: [ʃiːˈrɒːz], pronunciation (help·info)) is the fifth-most-populous city of Iran and the capital of Fars Province (Old Persian as Pars). At the 2011 census, the population of the city was 1,700,665 and its built-up area with "Shahr-e Jadid-e Sadra" (Sadra New Town) was home to 1,500,644 inhabitants. Shiraz is located in the southwest of Iran on the "Roodkhaneye Khoshk" (The Dry River) seasonal river. It has a moderate climate and has been a regional trade center for over a thousand years. Shiraz is one of the oldest cities of ancient Persia.

115 km from Shiraz to Sepidan a lush river crosses between two mountains. Some parts of this river is narrowed by the verge of the two mountains, consequently water level rises and the resulting pressure causes some worth-visiting eddies.
Normally tourists dobt know this place .. its a little far from the shiraz . if you gather a group and find a local .. worth to go and see alittle nature of Fars Province. even for the swiming

The best time for visiting this amazing garden is March and April which the air is permeated with the scent of orange blossoms and all trees and flowers look fresh and pristine. Plus there is a awesome mansion with 7 color tiles. In addition, there are some Cedar trees in Eram garden that very they are famous. All in all, the panoramic views of the garden, the aroma of flowers, the splendid view of old cypress trees and the grandeur of ancient building enchants visitors from all over the world and these are some of the reasons this unique garden has become one of the most visited attractions of Shiraz

This beautiful garden is by far, my most favorite place to visit in Shiraz. Even though it is not on the list of primary tourist attractions, but it is definitely a respite from the hustle and bustle, and tourists should make a stop for a visit. Beautifully manicured lawns, interesting trees, plants and flowers with traditional Persian water features, and a mansion, you’ll hear birds chirping in this garden all the time. The garden is enclosed by a beautiful brick wall and it offers a sanctuary to spend a couple of tranquil hours. This is a must when in Shiraz. There is a gift shop available, plus a couple of nice cafes and restaurants across the street.
