This is a spectacular coastal walk, to me more enjoyable than the better known (and far busier) one between Bondi to Coogee. We started at Maroubra Beach and only last section from Boora Point to Malabar was less than brilliant. Otherwise, was totally immersed in nature, with highlights being spectacularly wild coastal views and the hardy heathland vegetation, home to lots of birdlife. You would never know you're only about 10 km from downtown Sydney. The track is well maintained, with much of it on boardwalks. Very quiet when we walked: a few other walkers, fewer (very energetic) runners and no dog walkers. (Nor should there be - it is a national park.)

Fabulous ocean pool with stunning views. Brand new change facilities a few steps away as is the ever busy Pool cafe. Largish free open air car park a few metres away , with often with available spots and a green headland too

First time going there and the beach was amazing, white sand and clear blue waters. The waves were decent and not dangerous to kids. If you walk further south there are two rock pools. Comparing this with Cronulla beach there were more lifeguards on the beach and patrolling this area. Summer day and scorching heat, the beach was packed. Parking was hard to find and took us a while to find parking. Once you find parking you hold it to dear life and maximise your stay.

I've lived in Sydney for many years and can't believe I've missed out on this area until now. The Henry Head Walking Track, along with the Cape Banks Trail which follows on, provide some excellent harbour views, enjoyable bush walk tracks, and the chance to explore some of the original fortifications. Note, the Henry Head Walking Track branches off to Browns Rock as you approach Henry Head. I didn't feel the walk to the Rock was worth the ~600m detour so would suggest skipping that. Tip, if you're quite active it's worth considering starting your walk at La Perouse, then taking the Henry Head Walking Track and Cape Banks Trail, then walking to Malabar to then enjoy the coastal walk between there and Maroubra.

Absolutely perfect family beach. Protected from the Harbour swell and with cafes and restaurants nearby, this quiet beach is a great spot to spend a day.

Congwong is an idyllic stretch of clean, golden sand located at La Perouse towards the mouth of Botany Bay. The water is beautifully clear and clean and because of the beach's south-facing aspect, large waves are a rarity. But while the waves are small or non-existent, and there are no obvious rips, the beach has a steep gradient at the water's edge. So, it is not necessarily great for young children. There are no facilities at the beach, though there are toilets in nearby Cann Park and La Perouse's strip of cafes is only a few hundred metres away.

This is a very nice place to swim, relax and snorkel! You would see a lot of fishes, beware of the sea urchins tho. Plenty of parking on the street as well. ????

Situated along the rugged Southern Sydney coastline, the Coast Golf Course is open to the elements and can play differently from one hour to the next. It promises to be a challenge for all levels of players, and the Coast Golf Course never lets you down. It suits players of all skill levels, or even just the golfers who like to play on one of the most beautiful scenic courses in Sydney.
Sunday lunch on the coast of Little Bay with plenty of parking, great food and no massive crowds? Yes you get this from the Coast Golf Club. Amazing views of the coastal beaches and golf course while relaxing with a beverage. A quiet local venue.
