You'll need a car and an area map to reach Porto-Vecchio's beaches, where you'll find pure white sands lapped by brilliant turquoise water. The busy beaches are the top attraction in this port town, which travelers report hasn't yet been totally overrun by the tourist trade. Sample fresh seafood in the local restaurants, and plan a side trip south to the charming town of Bonifacio.

As an incredibly famous spot in Corsica, Palombaggia’s reputation for being one of the most gorgeous beaches in the world is fully justified by its stunning beauty. The white sand contrasting with the gorgeous blue water makes you want to take a dip right away! Bordered with pine trees, this little slice of paradise is one of the busiest beaches in the South. So head there early or off-season!

Pure beauty... Crystal clear waters... Limited car parking... This place is just a little paradise that should be dramatically protected from the silly humans... Actually the fact that car parking is limited tends to reduce the number of people on the beach... There are a number of restaurants at one end of the beach, we tried one of those (PETIT CHOSE) and it was EXCELLENT... GREAT GREAT PLACE TO BE ! Merci CORSICA for being so BEAUTIFUL... Please PROTECT THIS TREASURE...

Lovely beach, white sand a blue turquoise calm water. Great for children, very shallow. The beach doesn't get too busy end of September. We preferred Santa Giulia opposed to Palombaggia where there is a lot seaweed in the sea.
