Amazed by the stone formations. Adventure is somehow slippery so dont wear slippers that are hard, much better if slip resistant. Dont wear fancy clothes, an outdoor outfit would do since u'll get wet by the cold water that is flowing inside. Lucky we have an accomodating guide named artuto which is clearly a veteran in giving tours.

Really enjoy the view even though it’s tiring to reach the waterfalls. It was really impressive place to see and soak in the cold water after a tiring trek.

Amazed by how they buried the dead way back with no lights, no safety gears and slippery stones just to place the coffins on the top of the caves. We didnt get to see the hanging coffins up close since it is closed due to burial. Unlucky too that it is raining and power is interrupted when we went here.

Confirming as of Jan 2020 that there are still no check-points where you will be told to get a guide and you can do this easy hike independently. We did not go to lake danum, just to the meadow area and down. Enjoy :)

We climbed this trail for the sunrise and the blue-soiled hills. Overall it was an easy to moderate hike. The toughest part was the beginning which is mostly incline, after the sunrise view point, it's 70% flat or downhill. It can get chilly before dawn, especially when the fog starts to go down. There are food and drinks stalls at certain spots along the trail so if you forget to bring water, you should be able to buy a bottle. Best to come on a weekday (less crowds) and enjoy the quiet serenity of walking through the mountain. Can be finished in 2 - 4 hours depending on your walking speed and if the trail is wet or not.
