It really is nice to travel the length of the Kiel canal by car as I did. I would have preferred to do so by bicycle, and I intend to do so next time. This canal and its functioning, the regulation of the water from and to the river Eider and the locks are really impressive.

Nice to have a walk along the Kiellinie. Nice view of private yachts, the harbour..food / drinks booth along the strecht, also a few big restaurants.
