Jordan (/ˈdʒɔːrdən/; Arabic: الْأُرْدُنّ Al-‘Urdunn [al.ʔur.dunn]), officially The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (Arabic: المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية Al-Mamlakah Al-Urdunnīyah Al-Hāshimīyah), is a sovereign Arab state in western Asia, on the East Bank of the Jordan River. Jordan is bordered by Saudi Arabia to the south, Iraq to the north-east, Syria to the north, Israel and Palestine to the west. The Dead Sea lies along its western borders and the country has a small shoreline on the Red Sea in its extreme south-west, but is otherwise landlocked. Jordan is strategically located at the crossroads of Asia, Africa and Europe. The capital, Amman, is Jordan's most populous city as well as the country's economic, political and cultural centre.

It is astonishing how diverse Jordan’s scenery can be! If you have been to Wadi Rum, Petra, and Mujib you might think that this is again more of the same. But there something special also about this place. The stream provides a pleasant humidity and cool, the gorge is exciting, the flora is one of the richest we have seen in the southern part of Jordan, and there quite a number of Bedouin goatherds who will cross your way and will give you an insight into their lifestyle.

Wadi Rum is a beautiful desert in Southern Jordan. There is a sea of rolling dunes, and dramatic sandstone and basalt mountains jutting out of its sandy floor. A guided Jeep tour of the area is the best option for maximizing your time, which will give you views of the terrain, and make stops to allow you to scramble up a sand dune and look at petroglyphs. We also enjoyed a "camel safari" retracing Lawrence of Arabia's journey through the desert, and having lunch at a Bedouin camp.

The luxury camp was amazing. The inside of the tent was beautiful and luxurious. The food at the dining tent was incredible. The truck ride to the camp scary but exciting. The staff was helpful and very friendly . I would highly recommend it .

Welcome to your home in the desert! Famous for it's towering mountains and pink sands, Wadi Rum is a desert unlike any other in the world. It's home to a range of wildlife, historic sites, hiking and climbing trails, and of course, the local Bedouin who until recently led nomadic lives in the desert with their goat herds. The Bedouins are famous for their hospitality, resourcefulness and connection with the natural world. You can choose to stay in a traditional goat-hair tent, or sleep out under the starry night sky in the desert. There are many ways to explore Wadi Rum, including jeep, camel and hiking tours. We're very excited to show you around this beautiful desert that we're lucky enough to call home!

Eid and Patricia were really nice and attentive hosts: The horses are well taken care of and happy, and they will surely find a horse that suits your level. We did the two days ride around Petra and the scenery was amazing, the food really good (we even had a Knefeh cooked on the fire), and we spent a really nice couple of days with the team. We will definitely go back if we have the chance :)

Not only the lowest spot on earth, but also the saltiest and most mineral-laden body of water in the world, the Dead Sea, which joins Israel and Jordan, is legendary as a source of healing, and has become a popular center for health, rehabilitation and beauty treatments.
The Dea Sea is amazing, just the most I credible place to see. Floating in it's waters us a unique experience. You are so unbelievably buoyant you are almost on the water not in it! I was lucky enough to visit both the Israeli and Jordanian sides. Just make sure you do not get the water in the eyes or mouth - the pain is unbelievable! It's the lowest point on Earth too I'm told which makes it a n even more unique experience!

Wadi (valley in English) al-Mujib is located about 1.5 hour drive South of Amman. The site offers free parking and a remarkable experience. The entrance fee includes a life jacket that is required during the water hike (about an 1 hour each way). They sell some type of water shoes and rent a small hydrophobic bag for personal belongings which will get wet. The experience begins with a platform with a ladder that provides access to the passive river with nice photo spots between the naturally carved walls . Then you will adventure into an opposing stream lazy river with few spots that will challenge your hiking techniques. The trail is fun but it does require a bit of strength and hiking abilities. At the end, you will find a relaxing spot next to a water fall where you can enjoy the little fish that eat your dead skin from your feet. To complete the experience, you will have to return through the same path. You should enjoy the water ride down but be careful with the rocks. Also, try to enjoy gliding through the lazy river while admiring the sky and wall formation. I highly recommend this experience.
